Best welder for the money of all time!
I have been a certified professional welder for over 20 years and own countless welders. This little thing performs amazing, considering the price. I was very sceptical when I bought it but figured what the heck for 200 bucks I cant go wrong if it works. When I unboxed it the cables and stuff are slightly cheap looking but hey, you get what you pay for. I ran a bunch of sample weld set ups starting with stick. I plugged the welder in to my Honda EU 3500 portable generator in the 30A plug. I ran beads on flat plate starting from 30 amps all the way to 100 amps on the welder with no problem! That was the most I could get out of it on the generator, but it is still amazing, considering it runs off of a generator. Then I plugged it into my 220 power off of my miller and ran beads consistently for about an hour perfectly at full power with no problems at all. It is amazing as the unit is so light compared to my other units. I plan to buy another one for 200 bucks and use it when I work in remote locations that do not require heavy ship welds. This thing is awesome; you can't go wrong with the price. I recommend buying it and getting insurance on it. You will be welding in no time, and if anything happens, you can return or replace it. You can buy 12 of these instead of 1 comparable miller. Nuff said

Don't need square wave for aluminum
So I am new to Tig. The advertisement of "Aluminum tig welder" for the square wave sold me. However, you don't need it to weld aluminum. I wish I knew that before I purchased it . I did however find using a foot pedal to control the heat makes things way easier. I purchased the yeswelder 5 pin foot pedal as well. I have been practicing for only a few hours. Took a while to understand how hot is too hot. I watched a bunch of videos online and found out having a pedal is the only way to go if you are learning. I used 3/32 blue tungsten at first and I ended up going to 1/8 for easier use. It's hard going from flux core MiG to Tig. Tig requires you to keep the arc at a specific height and don't pull the torch away like MiG. It's fun to learn new things! Way worth the challenge for sure. Will I be a pro? No. But I learned something and can add a new ability to my garage. Welder pros: This welder has a lot of features like adjustable upslope, downslope and frequency along with square wave, balance, pre flow and post flow. Much more than I'd ever need. Welding some aluminum plate, I was able to do some basic start and stop exercising and really trying to learn how to control my hand. The welder really is amazing. You really need to understand the process of it and just play around with it. For amps, I started off too high. Frequency I started off too low. My post flow wasn't long enoughh. After realizing I was burning through the aluminum I lowered the amps to about 50 and then I was able to not burn through. Again, controlling it with the foot pedal is best because you can see the weld pool and adjust your foot and cool it down or heat it up. My settings for 1/8 aluminum (AC) 60 amps ( max, controlled by pedal) Pre flow .5 Frequency 120 Post flow 5.5 Tungsten 3/32 blue Argon 15 CFH #8 gas diffuser The frequency is cool. You can tighten up the arc cone and make the arc really tight or smaller with a higher frequency. Really cool! Overall I'm pretty happy with this machine. I hope it lasts. Cons: The manual. No settings guide other than titanium. It doesn't even explain what each of the settings do. Just basic definition of the settings. I don't like how large to torch is. It is huge, like a MiG torch. Also the torch is an all in one. No separate line for the lead and gas. *I ordered a different torch and new hose. It is way better than the one that comes with the machine. I don't like the cheap push buttons for the various settings. I wish it had an LCD like other machines. It didn't come with a gas regulator. It didn't come with any tungsten.

Great welder
This is a great little welder. It has everything we needed to do as well worth the money. I’d buy another one in a heartbeat. I recommend it if you’re a welder and need a small world to carry around this thing only weighs like 11 pounds and no, I’m not getting paid to say this. I recommend it. Thank you.

Great Machine Held Back by Serious Ground Clamp Issue - Updated
I really wanted to love the TIG-205P Pro. For the price, it offers impressive features, clean arc starts, and easy controls — everything I was looking for in a light TIG welder. Unfortunately, after only 2 hours of use, the stock ground clamp cable melted and completely severed at the connection point. This wasn’t due to misuse — I was running well within the machine’s capabilities. Upon inspection, the included cable is only 16mm² (roughly #5 AWG), which seems undersized for a machine rated to output 200+ amps. Combine that with what appears to be a poor or loose internal connection at the clamp, and the result is overheating, melted insulation, and a failed cable. This is more than an inconvenience — it’s a serious safety concern. I’ve reached out to Yeswelder directly and am hopeful they’ll make it right by sending a properly rated ground cable and addressing this flaw in future builds. If the grounding issue is resolved, this would be a solid 5-star machine. But until then, I strongly recommend replacing the ground cable and clamp immediately if you buy this unit. Update: After posting my initial review, Yeswelder customer service reached out promptly and offered to send a replacement ground clamp, no hassle. They explained that the failure was likely caused by poor contact between the clamp and the workpiece, which can cause overheating due to high current flow — a fair point. I still believe the included ground cable may be undersized for a machine capable of over 200 amps and will update again if that proves to be true. That said, customer service was excellent, and I appreciate their support!

Tiempo perdido!

One star for the timely delivery, and another for the functions (pre-flow, hot-sart, arc-force, HF-start, etc.), also one star for an easy return. That said, it did not hold an arc, (-1star), and I wasted a day (-1star). The thing got stuck on stick, and did not cycle to tig nor pulse tig. Luck of the draw perhaps.
