ok
This is a great microwave. It heats consistently and quickly. It has many features that I'm still needing to learn, and it's very capable. It's not the type of microwave that you just quickly heat something up, so there are a couple button presses required, for example setting the power, turning a dial and then pressing start, but it performs solidly. I like that it provides the capability of an oven, air fryer, and microwave, all in a small footprint. The microwave is durable, yet modern in appearance. A great value given the performance。

Fantastic oven!
This is our first multi-function microwave and we are loving it!After about a month of use, here are my pros and cons:Pros:Small footprint - This is the same size as our smaller microwave was and is able to fit in our very small kitchen.Quiet - This is the quietest microwave I have ever used. When my wife is heating up her coffee in the morning, I am unable to hear it running from 15 feet away. It is louder when using the convection/air fry mode because of the fan, but that just brings it up to normal microwave levels (or less)Versatility - We have used all of the modes and it is amazing what can be cooked/reheated in this thing. Being able to microwave something, then air fry something else without swapping out appliances is fantastic.Usability - The buttons are clearly labeled and the knob is intuitive. I also like being able to turn the beeps off when I am using it at night.Cons:Hot surface - We were used to keeping some things on top of our old microwave, but since this one is also a convection oven/fryer, it can get hot on the top when frying things. It also needs a bit more room on the sides and back for air flow, which makes sense for cooling.Cooking codes - The codes for what mode to use (A01 = popcorn, A02 = beverage, etc...) are inside the door and written very small, so trying to read them is difficult. We memorized the ones we use the most.Confusing 'combo' instructions - There is a 'combo' mode which is supposed to use both microwave and convection cooking and it says the tray and rack are OK to use, but you can't use them with microwaving...which breaks my brain a little bit. Looking online it seems many other people feel the same confusion.TLDR: We absolutely love this oven. It is able to quickly and quietly do microwave tasks as well as cook up frozen fries or wontons (or perfect little potatoes!). Highly recommended.

Lousy at multiple things and doesn't even toast
This is too underpowered to be a good air fryer, microwaves slower than a cheap microwave, and accumulates tons of steam when you cook anything, essentially making all your food moist rather than crispy. The instructions are cryptic, with so many settings you need to refer to the two-sided menu card to see what to set it to. The accessories don't fit together; so you can't put a pan under a rack, and they require their own cabinet to store, since they're so bulky. The window is extremely dark, so the light is ineffective to see what's going on.We only used it to melt butter or cheese sauce. I've owned a few toaster ovens, air fryers and microwaves since 1983, and this is by far the worst one in any category. Donating it because I would never put this on a friend. We only bought it due to a kitchen remodel, and didn't want to take up the space for two appliances any more. If this is why you're looking at it, look at one of the Ninja 9 or 10-in-1 air fryer "Foodi" toaster ovens. They cost a third of this worthless beast, do a great job of airfrying, baking or making toast (BTW, the Toshiba can't make TOAST!), and easily flip up when not in use to free counter space. We've found ways around needing a microwave, but are currently on the lookout for one that is only big enough to heat a cup.

The microwave/airfryer/convection oven is great; fire the editor of the cookbook
We are feeling our way around learning to use this new appliance. I bought my first microwave in the early '70's and I am VERY familiar with the pros and cons of microwave. The added features are getting a lot of use. For a household of just 2 people who don't eat a lot this is a really great purchase. We have done a lot of experimenting with doing very small entrees in this.Which brings up my major gripe. The accompanying cookbook is really impressive at first glance, and should have been a great guide for getting used to the new ways to cook with the appliance. Unfortunately, it is one of the worst little cookbooks I have come across. To begin with, the instructions have absolutely nothing to do with the appliance. The instructions just say "bake" for every single recipe. The shortcut on the upper left hand corner say "conv" for every recipe. Going beyond that, it is very obvious that the photos are not specific to the recipes, but were carelessly downloaded from some other source, with no regard as to whether the ingredients were even similar or if the shape is consistent with the recipe instructions. The recipes themselves are often inaccurate or miss key ingredients or amounts. It is quite obvious that nobody involved with the marketing ever cooked any of these recipes. In a recipe for "Spanish tortilla" it simply indicates "eggs" with no number. The photo obviously includes red and green peppers, which are mentioned nowhere in the recipe. The photo also shows one large tortilla, though the instructions call for dividing the ingredients among 6 cups of a muffin tin. Similarly, the doughnut recipe shows regular doughnuts with holes in them, but the instructions simply instruct to mold the dough into round balls. None of the coooking times are accurate--although this may partly be due to the fact that I am left guessing as to whether I should be using broil, broil-convect, combi, air fry, microwave, or whatever. As I said in the title, fire the editor. He/she totally failed at what might have been one of the best marketing tools for selling the appliance to my friends and relatives. When I bought my Kitchenaid oven/convection oven, the included cookbook got a LOT of use. While I worked my way through that great little cookbook my neighbors, friends, and family soon became very familiar with all the glories of my "magic oven." I expected the same here. Sadly, no. In spite of the book I am learning some great uses of the various settings, but it is all experimentation, complete with the expected number of fails. Nobody is calling this a magic oven, which is too bad because the machine seems to have some really great features. It has only been in the house for a few weeks and I have used it a few dozen times. With a decent cookbook this might have been well worth 5 stars. As it is, I can't really say that it is at all easy to use--though it will be in 6 months time. Nor can I give it full stars for versatility, though I will certainly say that the possibilities are there. In the meantime I am annotating the cookbook in hopes of making it what it should have been when I opened the box.
