I can sleep through the night
My father is 87 years old he has had hip surgery and of course is getting older. He is not as a mobile as he used to be of course. My sister and I spend our days 24/7 switching taking care of him. Before I ordered this device he was calling us four or five times a night to get up and help him to the bathroom. It was making everyone stressed out and very tired. So I decided to look this up .Tried it. Ever since I got it. We have been able to sleep through the night. It must be put on the right way but 95% of the time it has worked perfectly.

Doesn't fit or work
This looks like a good idea but our my husband it did't work. These are made for someone un 150 pounds maybe less. It was very hard to get on him and was not leak proof as advertised. the tubes must of Benn on European standards because they didn' work with urine tubes made here in the states. We tried hard but we ended up with my husband laying in a pool of his own pee. Not good.

Must be worn with adult pullups diapers
I give this rating because compared to having to use a bedside jug urinal, an internal catheter or a condom catheter this product is the better option when weighing it against the cons of using the alternatives.I read all the reviews and I must say I am glad I still bought this product. For us it has been a game changer and a life saver. The cone fits well over the genitals and is very soft. There are no sharp edges. The waist band helps keep the product in place. The product is probably a size S/M and fits my husband perfectly. My husband weighs about 165 pound and is about 5'7. His waist is about a size 34. My husband is wheelchair bound. He can stand only for about three minutes so we do not use this product standing up. We also do not use this product sitting down as it would probably bend the soft silicone and prevent the urine from flowing down. We use this at night with a diaper on and bed pads underneath. We never were hoping for a product that was fully leak proof while laying. As far as I see it right now other than an internal catheter there isn't anything on the market that really is leak proof. In our situation we knew condom catheters do not work. The moment the male genitals becomes completely flaccid the condom would slip off. Taping the condom didn't work either as it irritated the skin or would get stuck to pubic hair or eventually slip off too. We tried keep a jug/urinal beside the bed but the urinal would spill and my husband was often unable to situp without assistance. Another problem is my husband sometimes suffers from incontinence and does not always feel or know when he has to urinate.BEFORE this product No matter what we did the bed sheets, my husband, the diaper and the bed pads would be drenched in the morning. Now when using this product the majority of the urine fills the bag and some of it is caught by the diaper. My husband can sleep at ease now knowing he doesn't have to fumble with a jug urinal or attempt to sit up without help. He doesn't have to worry about a diaper not being able to hold all his urine throughout the night. I myself can sleep throughout the night without having to assist with multiple "bathroom" needs And I and his care giver no longer have to wash the bed quilts, sheets and mattress every morning plus thoroughly wash my husband clean from head to toe due to urine accidents. Now it's a simple diaper change and emptying of the urinal bag. This urinal won't be perfect for everyone but for people who have to rely on diaper use regardless it may lighten the load. This product Unless used standing and making sure all valves are tightly closed will not be fully leak proof. The waist band is meant for a size S/M. I have managed to use the cone with only a depend diaper when the waist band was in the wash.I hope this review helps people better understand what they would be buying and what to expect with this product.

Not exactly leakproof
I am very mobile. Not exactly leakproof but would work well for someone that is bedridden provided you get a proper seal. I believe the biggest problem is that the drain is pointing almost straight down causing it to fold when I am sitting. Glue the vent shut helps considerably.Update:After a couple of weeks I cannot keep the hose connected to the funnel. Even gluing it did not help.

China crap.
If your waste is 32, might fit. Don’t wear it for sleeping. It’ll leak like hell. Also you would be better to shave your public’s for it to work standing or it’ll leak. It’s all Chinese including directions. Can’t use US made tubing or bags. Won’t fit Chinese connections with US bags, tubing etc. Piece of crap.

Works Great!
Husband had a prostate procedure. Afterwards during his recovery process has had to run to make it to the bathroom in time. This works and is comfortable for him during the day. Not chained to the toilet! Just to be safe, use mini zip ties on the tube where it attached to the bag and the funnel up top!

Super for occasional incontence
My father loves this for those days when he has uncontrollable incontinence. It's a bit tricky to put on but it provides him with security and comfort that he won't be overflowing or having to change his adult diapers constantly. The kit comes with 3 bags that can be cleaned. I would like to know how to order additional bags.

Smaller than standard
This item was not the correct size. While the label was correct, the fit was poor being too small. On the bonus side, their customer service was excellent. I have no complaints.

Works well
Worked better than I thought it would. Fitment seemed a little weird to start, but made sense in use. Materials seem decent, and everything was also easy to wash for the next use. Very convenient compared to a traditional catheter.

Does what it is supposed to do, with some limits.
PROS:* Functionally, the apparatus works well when sitting and standing so long the drain hose remains kink-free and below the collector.* The collection device is very soft silicone and did not irritate.* The jock strap did not irritate or pinch anything.* Mostly silicone-based materials, the apparatus was easy to clean-up with soapy water and a rinse. The user should be able to get a lot of uses out of the product with some basic cleaning maintenance.* For washing, the jock strap is easily detachable from the collector using four buttons. Suggest putting the jock strap into a laundry wash bag before machine washing.* User manual instructions are clear enough to understand (English and Chinese).* Manufacturer contact information is in the user manual.CONS:* Based on fit, I would not dare to use this lying down. That is, the fit is okay (for me), but the dubious part is leakage due to how my boys are feeling on any given hour (swelled up or less than), or multiple leakage via the short 'n' curlies that crossover the collection seal. You'll have to visualize that yourself. Maybe the user would need to shave to have better success lying down. Nonetheless, the collector drain must be higher than the bag because you can risk tissue burn from backed-up urine in the collector and that would be not so much fun.* If there is any illusion that you can use this product casually while truck-driving, stop thinking that. The apparatus is more suited for hospital or patient-at-home situations. Perhaps with some innovative tweaking you could make it happen without looking like a patient driving a truck.* The manufacturer could have considered including the ability to strap the collection bag to the leg. i.e. a leg hanger gadget or similar.NOTES:* If you wish to walk around while wearing the apparatus, plan to shorten the drain hose if you are strapping the collection bag to your lower leg.* Beware that walking around with a 2000 mL collection bag strapped to your leg could be challenging to some folks.* Beware that the 1000 mL collection bag may be too small for some folks who pass a lot of fluids and would require frequent draining maintenance.* Pay attention to the air vents at the top of the collector and the drain bags. Close one or both of them, where needed, for your situation. I only closed the vent on the collection bag.SUMMARY:It is understandable the challenges of making a leak resistant external catheter, particularly for men while they are lying down. However, for mostly upright men, this product should perform as expected when used as instructed. Is there room for improvement? Perhaps. Maybe consider a design implementation that fits snugly "like a condom", or like the automated implementations used to milk cows? With some extra creativity, maybe using while lying down will be more successful.
