Great inexpensive flashlights.
Light in weight. Colored and big enough, they don't blend in and hide. Seem to be drop breakage resistant. Bright lite. If only the Lenz holder allowed you to know if it was on when standing up.

GOOD, AFFORDABLE BASIC HOUSEHOLD FLASHLIGHTS
These are perfect if you want a not-too-bright light to use around the house or keep in the car. 25 lumens isn't a lot, but it's ample for your average household tasks and what-not. The good thing about it not being so bright is that it lasts longer on a single battery. The manual says 30 hours... I have not tested that yet, but it seems possible considering the amount of light output. Very lightweight, compact and feels good in your hand. The switch feels good and clicks the light on and off with confidence and no flickering. I got the 4 pack, and they all worked flawlessly and consistently out of the box with the included batteries. Extremely affordable... keep one in multiple locations around the house, in the car, the garage, etc., and if they get broken or lost, it's no big deal. I would buy these again.

Nice Light. 7 of 8 Worked.
The lights are bright enough to be very useful. The design is simple and intuitive. The flashlights are smaller than I expected based on the photos, but the description is accurate. My issue is that one out of the 8 did not work. That is worth reducing one star.

Plain, nothing fancy,Economical, utilitarian flash light to find your way in a blackout.
These are plain little flashlights at a GREAT price. They come with the batteries. Nothing fancy but bright enough to find your way in a blackout and enough of them for everyone to have one. :)

Great for kids
My wife and I have a few acre's, and we host family and friend get togethers, kids are always outside playing, running around and gets pretty dark out as we live in country. I purchased these for kids to play with,to beat them up, and lose them, or if they are taken home by the other kids. I will not be heart broken. These are cheap enough to replace, and will not break the bank. These are light weight easy for even the younger kids to use, bright enough to be able to see maybe 10-15 yards ahead but not to bright that it will blind the other kids if pointed in faces. They have been used several times and been thrown, dropped and left outside till next day or so. If they fall hard enough the led light which you unscrew has popped off the base and batteries fall out. Just stick batteries back in and turns right back on. So they can take abuse but also have had 2 break on me. Not sure how hard of a fall they took but once I get down to 3 or so I will order more. These would also be good for backup light for power outages or little camp outs. Batties seem to last a good while. Would recommend for simple uses around the house or backups for sure or kids to use.

Good flashlights, no documentation
When I first opened the box with the flashlights, I was quite angry to find no package of batteries, since they were supposed to come with batteries. So I got some AA batteries and screwed off the top. There were batteries inside the flashlight. But the flashlight didn't work. So I figured that somebody must have left the flashlights on and drained the batteries, so I replaced them. Still no-go. Then I noticed a little plastic tab where the top battery connects. I removed it and the flashlight worked. I re-installed the original batteries and it worked. A little note would have saved me some trouble and anxiety. They are good flashlights. Light, portable, and easy to carry, especially since they come with a lanyard that is big enough to fit around a wrist. They just need a bit of documentation.

For the price, hard to beat.
Actually pretty bright and well made. I got blue and yellow. The quality of the LEDs is pretty good considering I paid $1.52 per flashlight. I compared it toe to toe with a Dorcy flashlight that you can get for $1 at Dollar general. Dorcy shines farther, but the Eveready is better as an area light, especially considering these flashlights have a more white light, and not so bluish. People who complain about the size of these flashlights, are really kind of lame. There was a time when I had to carry a D cell everready flashlight to get this kind of light. The only thing I don't like about them is the lanyard, it goes straight into the body of the flashlight. Usually I like to tape my flashlight off with electrical tape to make it slightly more waterproof. But with these, water can (will) get in through the lanyard hole. You might be able to use nail polish to waterproof it. Other than that, I think they're great. They shine at least 35 yards, I would say closer to 40 or 50 yards. I like AA flashlights because aaa's will not power anything for very long, and AA flashlights are still pretty small. This kind of light is perfect for a scout, or just a person who needs something for storms, considering these will run for about 30 hours at 25 lumens, not bad at all. Batteries are carbon zinc, don't complain at this price point. I put some good Duracells in there, and they made it shine a liitle brighter (probably 30 lumens). The picture of the beam is with the batteries that came with it. And it is slightly larger than the Dorcy flashlight, but still pretty slim and handy.

8 Flashlights for the Price? Wow, What a Great Buy!!
I needed flashlights to stick in each room in case the power went out. I got these because, well, they were really, really cheap. You get 8 little flashlights in the pack and includes 2 batteries for each of them. Wow. I call that a really good deal. I loaded up all of them. You simply unscrew the top and drop 2 batteries in with the active tip up. They seemed to be pretty loose in the case, but when I screwed the top back on and tested, they worked perfectly. These are not fancy flashlights with different settings, like some you can buy now. They simply turn on with a bright light and turn off. No flashing or other stuff. Really, how much extra do you need for a simple flashlight? Anyway, they work great. Of the 8, I only had a little trouble with one of them, where it did not seem to connect the battery in completely. Wiggling it around a bit, it did start to work. So, one minor problem? Heck, these flashlights are worth it. So many for so little and comes with batteries included? You can't beat that. Great buy and ultra inexpensive for what you get.
