Expendable power backup solution for home and RV.
I am a long time user of Jackery batteries. I was very excited when the Explorer 2000 plus was released. This is the very 1st expendable battery system that Jackery has released. It allows up to 12kwh capacity on a 3000w 120v output, or 24kwh on a 6000w 240v output. Perfect upgrade for my home backup.Jackery Explorer 2000 plus uses the new LiFePO4 battery cells. The LiFePO4 cells are much safer comparing to the Li-Ion cells. It can operate between -4F to 140F temperature, and much better performance in a cold environment than the Li-Ion cells. The LFP( LiFePO4) cells is rated 4000 cycles to 70%+, and the Li-ion cells is rated 1000 cycles to 80%. It can last about 4 times longer than the Li-ion battery cells, can easily last 10 years on a daily use. That’s great for a daily home power backup solution!!Since the density of the LPF battery is different from the Li-Ion, it makes it a little heavier than the Li-ion batteries. The 2000 plus weighs about 61.5lb, and the 2000 pro weighs about 43lb. Almost 20lb heavier than the Li-ion battery. Portability wise it might not be the best option, but for a long lasting purpose this will be great! That’s why the 2000 plus has built in wheels, and handle to make it easier when transporting the battery to different locations. Then 2000 plus inverter can output 3000w max, and 6000w surge peak, where as the 2000 pro can only output 2200 w max, and 4400w surge peak. That means, I am able to power more devices around the house with this battery. I was even able to charge my Tesla with this battery as well. Even tho it’s only one level 1 charging, with 120v 12 amp, I can get about 10 miles of driving range from the 3kwh amount of power. Not bad for emergency needs. The Jackery control app is very useful. I can pretty much control everything via the app. I can adjust battery charging speed, output on/off, monitor output voltage, % of power left, temperature and more. The app can connect to the battery via bluetooth, or wifi. When connected via wifi, I can access my battery from anywhere, as long as I have internet access. This makes it so much easier to make changes when I am not home. I don’t see any web version of the app. I am hoping that Jackery will provide some type of web access as well, that will be even more useful as a backup, if something happens to the smartphone.I am super excited to see that the expendable setup allows up to 5 additional expansion batteries to connect to one 2000 plus base unit. Which max at 12kwh capacity. That can easily run the whole house for 24 hours or more. This makes the system really flexible, depending on my needs I can customize the capacity that fits my lifestyle. With the 30 amp outlet, I am going to connect to my transfer switch at home, so I can use this to backup the whole house for emergency purposes. Right now I have 4kwh, I am planning to upgrade to 6kwh in the next few months. I am super excited, with the possibility I have with this new expendable design.

Jackery’s 1st LifePO4 battery!
Wanted something for home use that will be cycled often. I have several batteries I use for camping (2000pro for 1-2 nights, 3000pro plus solar panels for longer trips and a 1000pro for small devices). I do plan on using this (2000plus) for summer camping trips if I take my portable AC with me.PROS:-as with all Jackery products its very simple to operate-LifePO4!-ability to run 240v with two 2000plus linked together using a Jackery connector-expandable up to 24kwh!-massive 3000w inverter-30amp RV outlet-Jackery App allows monitoring/controlling of the 2000plus or the 3000pro from any location (away from your home) as long as they are connected to your home Wi-Fi. It will allow for quite charging as well which brings down charge rate from around 1800watts to 750+ watts-fast charging thru AC or solar panels-5 year warranty-built in charger (no more power bricks to carry)-a couple of 100w PD ports for charging high end laptops-retractable handle and wheels make it easier move the unit aroundCons:-The cable to connect the battery pack to the main unit is huge and sticks out ~18 inches. If Jackery is reading this, please come up with an angled connector so the units can be placed closer to the wall!!!Note:-Since this is a LifePO4 battery, the app will no longer allow you to use “Battery Saving Mode” option. Charge to 100% or discharge to 0% and it will not damage the battery. Currently only the 3000pro has “Battery Saving Mode” option.-The battery pack cannot be used as a stand-alone unit as there are no output ports. To charge the battery pack using AC, it must be attached to the 2000plus. However, you can use up to 6 Solar saga 200s to charge this unit without the need to attach to the 2000plus ( there are 2 solar inputs at the back of the battery pack)-When charging or using the batteries, both the main unit and battery pack charges/discharges at the same time.Tip:- Bluetooth and Wi-Fi shuts down after 5 minutes when no connection is detected or if connected device goes out of range from the unit. To turn it back on, simply press AC and DC buttons at the same time for 3 seconds and you will be able to reconnect with the Jackery App.Overall it’s a solid product that is intended for home use. For the camping crowd, weekend warriors or for folks who does not cycle thru the battery daily I highly recommend the Jackery PRO line because it weighs ~40% less than LifePO4.

Top Notch!
I have many Jackery products, 240, 500, 1000 Pro, 3000 Pro and this 2000 Plus. I also own the 60, 80, and 200 Watt solar panels. Furthermore, I have two 2000 Plus extra batteries.Of all of my Jackery products, the 2000 Plus is my favorite for several reasons. Those reasons are reliability, ability for expansion and power. Each one of my power stations is well suited for particular applications, but the 2000 Plus can do it all.The only Jackery I have that I’m not totally happy with is the 1000 Pro. From the beginning, it was the only one that loses power when not in use. And I’m talking about a good amount of loss.Anyway, the 2000 Plus is fantastic, and I would highly recommend it, especially since the deals now are much better than when I purchased.

Great product but panels are too lightweight.
I love this generator and it’s easy to figure out, however the panels are so lightweight that I am unable to use them to charge my generator most of the time because the wind blows them over. I live in Missouri not Kansas, just an fyi. I think I will try and build some kind of frame for them to hold in place but it must be adjustable because you have to chase the sun with the panels. I also love that you can take this with you whenever you go provided there’s not much wind. This is my first experience with solar panels and the generator and I’m most excited that I have no cord to pull to turn it on, no gas fumes, no noise. It’s pretty awesome just wish the panels were more stable.
