Post surgery very new scar after 5 weeks, was due to go abroad. Consult recommended a silicone strip to protect my wound/scar from uv and sun (as fresh skin so will burn). Perfect absolutely fabulous!Ive used regularly since to allow me to wear summer clothes without fear of burn or damage. Its a pretty opaque strip so for me it’s relatively blendable onto my skin. However i didn’t care on the colour it was all about protection, id wear orange, navy or purple so long as it worked!Recommend fully, use it multiple times at gym to protect my check and collar bone at gym from the sport bra rubbing which was horrid sensation, so it helps protect and uv protect.So thankful to my consultant to advise of silicone strip, its been the best buy i feel ive made. Highly recommend!!I had my gallbladder removed just over a month ago. After removing the surgical dressings after a week, I started using the tape. It's so much more comfortable than the surgical dressings were- it's flexible, lightweight and feels 'breatheable'. I clean the wounds before applying, with soap and water, or wound cleaning wipes (ensuring that the wounds are dry before applying the tape).I have found that the tape reduces any itchiness, as well as any pulling or tugging sensations. It covers the wound well, to avoid rubbing from clothes. The adhesive is good quality and lasts all day.I don't reuse the tape as I'm concerned that any sweat or oils aren't effectively washed away with just water. Soap reduces the effectiveness of the adhesive, so I replace it every day (when I can be bothered / remember).I've just reordered the larger sized amount of the tape, as I think I'll need to use it for a while.

I really think this helped a lot with lessening the scarring after my earlobe surgery, easy to use and sticks well

I’ve been using this silicone scar tape for wrinkles, but unfortunately, I haven’t noticed much of a difference so far. It’s easy to apply, and it feels comfortable on the skin, but as for reducing wrinkles or making a visible change, I’m not seeing the results I was hoping for. It might work better for others, but it hasn’t made a significant impact for me yet.

Very bad quality tape, kept on falling off and never stayed in place, also didn’t seem to make any difference. I would go for the Frida baby ones and cut them to the size needed, they are much stronger reusable and never move around even if you keep it for days in a row!

I use this for face taping, an alternative to botox, with very positive results. After facial massage, I apply a strip of this to my forehead, and have noticed a reduction in forehead movement and wrinkles. I am also happy to say it is gentle on my sensitive skin. You can also use the tape more than once, which means it is great value for money. Will continue to use this.
