ORANSI mod+ Air Purifier - Extra-Large Rooms, 3-Stage Air Filter with Carbon, EnergyStar, Wildfire Smoke, Allergies, Pets, Birds

My wife and I are 75 yrs old with a history of numerous health issues. When I found this item (ORANSI mod+ HEPA Air Purifier - Extra-Large Rooms, 3-Stage Air Filter) and researched it, I figured I would give it a try. Due to my/our Asthma history, household allergies, seasonal Allergies etc., and my wife's sinus allergies, it was worth the money to try it (IF IT WORKED). First day, (oh, by the way, the quality and design is amazingly beautiful). I set it up in the living room (where we spend much of each day). I set it on low while watching TV, and on full when we leave the apartment. At bedtime, I move it into the bedroom and set it on low for the night. Let me stop here just to say,...the noise level set at 'High' is very loud so as to disturb, which is why I only set it high if we are going out, or place it in a room we are not currently in. It is unbelievably quiet at it's lowest setting. SO QUIET IT DOES NOT INTERFERE WITH our SLEEP (or even watching TV). Well, this unit "WORKS". In the first few days of running this unit, our breathing was noticeably improved, and our regular days of 'coughing' have almost gone completely. But the best thing I can say about this is how "improved our quality of sleep is"! Almost no coughing or sneezing spells. When we awake, we can feel actually more rested than ever! Note: Since I bought the larger model, I have to say it is a 'hefty' unit, even though it has a very well designed handle, it 'isn't light'. (Good quality items usually 'aren't light anyway'). But since I have an 'all carpeted' apt. I devised a simple moving strategy by placing furniture glides under it and simply 'slide' it from room to room). Problem solved. At the time of this review, it is seven full days of use, and WE ARE COMPLETELY SATISFIED SO FAR. I will update this review periodically as to longevity, benefits, etc. Also, need to mention now easily it is to replace the filter, etc. All the functions were well designed with the consumer in mind. Nice unit after more than a year working fine

The air smells crisper and cleaner when the purifier runs. Just bought a 2nd one. Great investment in the air you breathe.

It's very big. I bought it for my mom house. I must not have been paying attention to the fact that filter is on the bottom. Handle now makes sense because of the size of the purifier. It was packed very well. Difficult to remove from box even with handle because styrofoam is wedged in cut out area. You can't just life purifier out you have to get styrofoam on bottom moving too. I myself have other smaller organsi air purifiers that are rectangular and can go up against the wall in many rooms. This works well because it will cover whole floor and can stay in livingroom. I'd give it 5 if filter was in easier location for someone who my not be able to move something this large upside down for filter. It can be adjusted to any speed. Lights should not keep you awake. Looks nice. Hopefully it helps with my mom's copd.

I'm very pleased with this product. I have never had an air purifier and I've really done myself and my home a disservice. I have (recently) inherited parrots and I've always had cats and both are at times smelly. Since parrots have delicate systems I can no longer have the chemical air deodorants or candles in my home. That is no problem! I've been using this product since February and it was a noticeable difference when it come to smell and dusting once I started using it. Parrot dust gets EVERYWHERE! Not only does it make my home neutral (smell) but it also cut down my dusting from once a week to once a month. I haven't had to replace the filter yet, I take it outside every two weeks and blow it out with my leaf blower. I did have a problem with the first one I ordered not turning on properly. I called customer service and they had a new unit to me within the week and were super nice about it. I plan to buy another one for my upstairs soon. I did a lot of research before buying this particular unit and I'm supremely happy with it for parrots and I realized that I've been probably "poisoning" myself and my cats with all the chemicals I used to buy that smelled good.

The media could not be loaded. I tell everyone about this air purifier. I did a ton of research on actual specs for the cleaning power and this one took the cake. It doesn’t have app capability or a pretty LED screen, but it doesnt need one to show me how well it has been working in my two bedroom apartment. I had this filter about 1 year and I have three dogs. It has been an absolute lifesaver for me and my allergies and it looks so aesthetic in my modern home. I would order this again and again. I leave it in the living room by my couch where my allergies have always been the worst and I have zero sneezes in my home now. Also, my energy bill went up like $15-20 a month but I leave it on all day everyday on either full blast or 3/4 full blast. I vote this 10/10!2 year update: I couldn’t love this thing more. I run it at 75% 24/7. For reference I have two dogs that shed a lot. I also live in a beach city where the air quality isn’t very bad. I vacuum twice a day with a roomba and a Dyson, and this thing still collects this much dirt, hair, dust and debris!!! I’ve changed the filter three times in two years (probably should have changed it sooner but I just vacuumed it a couple times and it kept collecting). And my oransi still operates perfectly even after having it on 24/7 for two years.
