I loved victory v as a kid and still do! Not sure I could afford to buy on a regular basis as very expensive now. But as a little treat great

I bought these as a work colleague and I were reminiscing about sweets and they came up. Gracious though what a disappointment. Haven’t had them in prob over 20yrs but they don’t smell the same and definitely don’t taste the same. The recipe has obviously changed. Devastated

Not as good as they used to be

They arrived promptly, and i guess the price was ok. however, I purchased this as i had hoped to recapture a taste of the past. Sadly, these are a very poor imitation. The strong and unusual (to say the least) flavour of ether was almost absent. I dare say someone who did not know the 'real' victory v would find this pale imitation palatable, but it definitely did not do it for me:(

These used to be sold in all confectioners shops, but sadly now they are very rare. The lozenge is great though for me to prevent throat complains after long haul plane flights. Suck on one just after take off, one in middle of the flight and one just before landing does the trick for me.

Helped soothe my sore throat and clear stuffy nose

Sadly they are not like I remember, they tasted only of sugar 😞
