I bought the BENFEI M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure to repurpose an old SSD, and it’s been absolutely brilliant. The build quality is excellent—sturdy aluminium casing that feels durable and helps with heat dissipation too. It came with all the tools needed, and the installation only took a few minutes. Used it to expand my laptop memory from 256gm to 512gb, plugged it in and used Ease US to duplicate the hard drive and now I am using the device as a backup storage. Quality is brilliant and is made of metal and looks very stylish, does not overheat, connects immediately and sized perfectly with no wasted space, has an LED indicator and function as expected. Also easy to swap out a different memory

It really great and working perfect. 4 star as the cooling pad is really disadvantage if you using for more than 1 M2.

My laptop died with no warning and I hadn't backed up all the contents of the SSD. I managed to retrieve the SSD without too much difficulty and searched Amazon to find a gadget that would allow me to view the contents. I bought this one based on the reviews and I'm pleased to say it worked perfectly. I found it easy to use, although the instructions weren't brilliant. Compatible with Lenovo Yoga. No issues with overheating, but it didn't need to work very hard in this instance.

I cannot fault this item, especially for the price! Installation was super easy, not requiring any tiny screws. Just a push to open and click to close. Inserting the storage board was also super easy. In at a slight upward angle and push down gently. I had no issues what so ever with the rubber securing pin. I personally think this is great design. Just rotate or move the rubber pin back, slide the board down and then rotate the rubber pin around to secure the board. The nature of these storage devices does mean they can get pretty hot. This comes with a heat sinking strip but I am not sure if this really touches the top of the metal case enough to be of use. I guess they intend the hot chip close to the connector can move heat towards the back perhaps... As for the cooling vents they mention, totally inaccurate since when you slide the metal case over it would block the vents in the tray anyway. There are no vent holes in the metal case...at all! I experienced very good transfer speeds, well up to USB spec at least. Nice small green light to show activity and being plugged in. The cable really impressed me. This seems of great quality and includes an adapter to change the PC end to either USB-C or standard USB-A. Granted it's only about 30 cms long but perfectly enough for regular use. Overall, a great device and good price. I am very impressed.

The enclosure is well built and easy to use. While it does have documentation, it's poorly translated and would be highly ambiguous if not for the images. Overall, it's a great investment.

Bought this to let me clone a new ssd. For this use it was fine. The case is easy to open and the ssd fitted well. The only issue was getting the little rubber plug to go into its socket to secure the ssd. The dual USB plug doesn't look the most durable, but for now it is working well.

Got this on a deal for roughly $22. I am using an older gen 3 nvme drive. Was a bit surprised how hot the nvme runs but it seems to perform fine in the case.

Snabb och bra allt fungerade utan några problem. Formaterade m.2 enheten och allt fungerade. Mycket smidigt med inbyggd usb sladd.

Les performances sont au rendez-vous. Avoir le câble directement dessus et avec la double connectique est plutot convivial. Je ne perd plus mon temps a chercher un câble pour le connecter à mon tel ou ordi
