Perfect for travel soft, cozy, and easy to use
This airplane toddler bed is really nicely made and feels high quality. The top has a soft velour like texture, which makes it cozy and comfortable for little ones to relax and sleep on during the flight. I love that it has grips on the bottom so it doesn’t slip on the airplane seat, which makes it feel much more secure. It’s also very easy to use and set up, which is a huge plus when traveling with a toddler. Another bonus is the great price and how easy it is to clean after travel. Overall, this is a great product for toddlers and made flying much easier. Highly recommend!

Toddler Airplane Bed
It turned out that this kids' aircraft seat extension was a game-changer since it provided a pleasant and safe place for my little one to relax and play while we were traveling. Despite the fact that the idea of transforming an aircraft seat into a comfortable bed for my child seemed to be almost too wonderful to be true, this product exceeded my expectations in every way. Putting it together was simple, and it was able to fit snugly on the seat of the aircraft, transforming it into a little paradise for my kid. Not only does it function as a sturdy bed, but it also functions as a footrest, which offers a little bit of additional support for the legs of young children. My little child was able to stretch out and have a restful sleep during the journey, which made the experience more pleasurable for both of us. A snug fit to the seat was secured by the adjustable straps, which prevented any unexpected slides or shifts that may have occurred throughout the turbulent ride.

Velcro parts go on the seatbelt after it’s cinched right, buckle part behind tray table
Amazing product….. but explicitly not allowed on United :( United explicitly states that they prohibit the use of any object or device to modify or alter the seat, including examples like Fly-Tot, JetKids BedBox, or similar items. This policy is driven by safety concerns (e.g., potential obstruction in emergencies, interference with seat functions, or evacuation paths). It’s listed on their traveling with children/infants page (though the exact URL may vary slightly over time). • This applies to non-approved comfort devices like seat extenders, footrest platforms, or portable beds that attach to or extend over seats. • FAA regulations focus on approved child restraint systems (e.g., FAA-approved car seats or CARES harnesses) for safety during takeoff/landing/taxi. They don’t approve or prohibit these comfort extenders directly, but airlines like United enforce stricter rules for cabin safety and compliance. • Anecdotal reports (from forums like Reddit, FlyerTalk, and social media) show mixed experiences: Some people have used similar items without crew noticing/intervening (especially if stowed during critical phases), but others report being told to remove them, and United’s written policy is a clear no. • The product listing itself notes to “check with your airline in advance” and that “some airlines may not allow its use.” For United specifically: It’s not allowed per their policy. The final call is always with the flight crew/gate agents, but risking it could mean being asked to stow or remove it mid-flight. If you’re flying United with a toddler, safer/compliant alternatives include: • Buying an extra seat and using an FAA-approved car seat. • Requesting a bassinet (limited availability, usually on international/long-haul in premium cabins). • Using blankets/pillows creatively (without attaching anything). • Or checking other airlines’ policies, as some (e.g., certain international carriers) are more lenient with inflatables or extenders if stowed during takeoff/landing.

Decent Travel Helper, But Has Limitations
I used this toddler airplane bed on a recent long-haul flight with my 3-year-old. It definitely helped make the trip more comfortable—my child had a place to stretch out and rest their legs, and it gave them a cozy space to play and read. The velvet fabric is soft and feels nice, and the setup was fairly straightforward once the plane reached cruising altitude. However, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, it’s not compatible with all seats—especially aisle or exit row seats—which limits where you can use it. Also, while it’s lightweight and portable, the size when unfolded takes up a bit more space than expected, and some flight attendants weren’t thrilled about it being used. It’s a helpful accessory for certain flights and seating arrangements, but definitely check with your airline beforehand. Overall, it’s a good idea for travel comfort, but not quite as universal or hassle-free as I hoped.

Amazing
This thing is a game changer for flights with toddlers. Even if they aren’t going to sleep, it’s so much more comfortable for them and easier to keep their stuff organized. I was going to get a blowup one, but my airline didn’t allow them. I would have bought this first anyway had I known how easy it would be!!

Cheaply Made but Compact
Very thin and flimsy. Not sturdy or trustworthy in my opinion. It also doesn't fit on all airlines. Make sure to check with the airlines that they will allow you yo use it on your flight. I flew on Japan Air and they wouldnt allow it.

Nifty Advancement for getting kids to Sleep on planes
The set up was extremely easy and I got absolutely no hassle from anybody on the air airline with my two-year-old decided to lay on it. Overall, it's a pretty good product and pretty convenient if you have a child who is actually willing to sleep on a plane.
