Even though this cleanser is meant to be used with an ultrasonic spatula (which I don't have), it works well enough on its own. It's been quite effective for me in removing sebum especially in the nose area (when used as directed), without being too aggressive and stripping like a clarifying cleanser. From a buyer's perspective, my only real complaint would be the price point. The current list of $54.50 is quite a lot for only 4 FL ounces. Otherwise, I would recommend it.

I am really excited about this decongest product. It worked extremely well for me. I have really stubborn black and white heads on the sides of my nostrils that have plagued me for years. I was never able to fully extract them without pinching my nose so hard that it left a red mark. Consequently, I did not extract them often. This decongest cleanser loosened the debris on this problem area beautifully. I was able to extract all of the gunk from inside of my pores by using a simple facial loop tool very gently. No pain and no red marks left behind...just clean clear pores. All I had to do was put the product on after I exfoliated and let it sit for 3-4 minutes before rinsing it off. Just a small amount goes a very long way so this product will last me a good while, which makes it a very good value. I highly recommend this effective cleanser. My skin feels excellent after using it.

This is meant to be used with some type of blackhead remover tool (electronic or manual). Following the directions on the bottle, I applied it on my nose and let it sit for a few minutes, washed it out with some water. I do find it has better helped me to remove the sebum that gets stuck in the folds. If you have a lot of blackheads or clogged pores, it would be best to use this in conjunction with a remover tool like a spatula.
