It's got a heavy base so no matter how hard you whip off the paper or hit the top there is no need to worry about it falling over. A nice thing about the design that is easily missed is that the top of the flat base is only barely off the floor so the robot vac/mop cleans the top too. I am so impressed with this design... the color is a blue based gray with a little tiny bit of twinkle under direct light. I'm buying another for my master bath that has the same Ann Sacks tile. Perfection!

Good quality. But bit pricey. Not suitable for big phone xD

Definitely a luxury item. Super solid, superbly finished and very stylish (given its practical use). It oozes quality through simplicity of design. It's a very very dark matt grey, which is much more refined looking than other black toilet roll holders. Easy to put together. It's very heavy, so difficult to tip over, which makes the tray useful for reed diffusers. The toilet brush takes some getting used to, but is actually a much better design than normal brushes. My only gripe is that the metal of the toilet roll holder can sometimes cut into the roll creating shavings. I love it! My partner on the other hand hates it. Almost irrationally. He seems monumentally embarrassed by the 'shelf', and I often find it hidden under the sink or shoved in a corner. There's no accounting for taste.
