**Updated review: Seller reached out and sent me a replacement set and refunded the original since they had broken. Very impressed with the customer service. Upped the review from a 3 star to a 4 star. I really like these, but 3 have already broken due to heat shock when heating frozen food. I have only had them for a week. Ordered a different set made of borosilicate glass to replace these.

These glass containers with silicone lids are great for washing, practical for storing food, they keep food fresh for a long time, and even he said yesterday that they hold up well.

Edited (16 October 2024): I was contacted by WeeSprout and offered a new set of glass jars and silicone lids. They were sent to me free... and, they are much nicer! They are smaller (4 oz vs. 8 oz), but the silicone lids seem to stay in place well and they do not leak! I haven't tried traveling with them yet, but testing them pretty vigorously over my sink and the lids did not come off and did not leak at all. I am thinking I might be able to use these new silicone lids on the larger 8 oz jars I originally ordered... which would be fantastic! I have upped my 1 star rating to a 3 star rating... not so much for the original jars and lids I ordered (still a 1 star, just because the lids leak)... but the WeeSprout customer service (which is 5 stars!). Anyone looking for nice jars and lids... I'd recommend their 4 oz glass jars and silicone lids... they are REALLY nice. And, anyone looking for a company with real customer service (a rare thing these days), then again, I recommend WeeSprout!!! I would give zero stars if Amazon allowed that. Every single jar with lid LEAKS BADLY. LIKE A LOT. They do not seal at all. You can't add liquid and then store in a cooler as it'll leak anywhere. You can't add liquid then shake before using as it'll leak A LOT. This morning, I even tried GENTLY swirling liquid in one of them, with the jar less than half full (3 oz) and the liquid spilled out everywhere. How on earth could these be used for BREAST MILK?? They serve no purpose... would return if I hadn't taken the bottles out of the box, thrown the box away, and washed the containers and lids. Learned my lesson... before doing anything else, I should have put some water in one, put the lid on, and shaken to see if they leak. This listing is 100% false advertising. I do not recommend.
