Love the twists this character takes
In this second book Anne really shines and gets out of her shell growing in confidence. The secondary characters who were introduced in Book 1, like Doris and Della take on more active roles. There are some great action scenes in this book, where the ladies really kick butt! I really like too how there is great relationship development among the characters both as friends and lovers, but without the over sold sex scenes. We start to get a little back story on Charlie the male lead who is truly kind. I am excited to find out more about him and his trip, and what kind of shenanigans our main character manages to get into in the mean time!

Excellent Detail
Ryan brilliantly expanded on his story and this was even better than the first book. The clever way he introduces new characters and the continuity of their development is refreshing, and I was blown away by his knowledge of computer systems and how they would function in an android. Without giving away spoilers, and entire fight scene takes only moments from a watcher's perspective, but is so nuanced and engaging I laughed out loud when I realized what he'd done. Excellent!

Character development in spades
Anne continuing her day job can not be understated. Despite the trauma she keeps moving on. She is no longer a victim but a Victor. Still my favorite is Cappa. I thoroughly enjoyed her many interactions with the ZTech crew. Ryan and his ZTech are highly underrated.
