RodellePure Fiori di Sicilia Citrus Flavor, 2 FL oz (Pack of 1)

When you need an undefinable citrus flavor, that’s not a harsh lemon or artificial orange flavor… this is it. I make a potato chip cookie that is basically a shortbread cookie w potato chips. It’s good but changing the recipe from 2 tsp vanilla to one tsp vanilla and one tsp Fiori de Sicilia changed the comments from,“Oh this is yummy” to “Oh my gosh, what is this?” It’s a subtle mixed citrus that could be used like perfume it smell so good. Such a wonderful flavor.

One of my bread recipes calls for this ingredient. I use it all the time. Good quality good flavor. It makes the difference in my bread. The bottle arrived in excellent condition no leakage.

This adds so much more flavor to baked goods! Just don't use too much. Smells so good in the house while baking.

If you have never used Fiori di Sicilia you absolutely should get a bottle - it is a nice upgrade from your usual vanilla flavoring. But I found the Rodell to be a lot less interesting than the King Arthur version. Overall a dreamsicle flavor rather than the nuanced layered flavors I can get using the King Arthur.

I purchased this a while ago and use it when making glazes, but this was PERFECT for making my mini panetonne. The flavor is just enough, so happy I found it and the price was GREAT for the size. It just took a while to arrive so... if ordering for the baking season, order it now :)
