Original - recommended
Seller Review: Perfect package, New as advertised, and warranty received two days after (hoping won't need to use it), and simply much cheaper than other sellers. I even contacted the Main manufactured themselves before buying and with an offered discount it was much cheaper than them. Delivery Review: They were professional and handled it carefully, and it was delivered on time (they were third party, not related to the seller, not to Amazon). Device Review: It is good for the price, but to be honest, you can sense the quality is less than the higher prices TVs, Remote control is really light and plasticky, while the stand for the TV is just plug in (nice and easy) but you still sense it might be affected by any push. I could sense as well that the processor of the TV is a bit slow that you sometimes get a lag, also, applications sometimes needed to be restarted to work. All these compares I got as I used to use a much more expensive TV before, so I could immediately sense the difference, but also the difference of the price was almost the double, so it's totally fair and recommended as it gives you the needed for sure. Color and sound are totally fair, I recommend. Other Reviews: The deliverers won't install or unpack your TV for you, it's not their work The package was sealed by Amazon in a way that I couldn't actually remove the seal without cutting it, so that had me to cut the Cartoon that normally used to close the box itself, I didn't' like that part.

Good value from a quality brand
Excellent images, poor sound quality (you'll want external speakers), reliable so far (about six months of ownership).

Worth the price for good colors & sound
Bought it after seeing the good reviews for this model. As of now, very much impressed with the color palette though it needs a bit of a fine tune depending on the various streaming services. However, the sound is really good providing sufficiently loud lows and highs. Also surprised to distinctively hear the instruments in the various background scores depending on the quality of the content being watched. That’s impressive for a TV speaker

So, I've been playing with this TV for a couple of days now... what do I think of it? Well, it was a bit of a faff to set up - mainly due to trying to get them to set up a Samsung Account for me and then my credit card not accepting who they were so refusing a 87p fee! All in all you don't actually have to pay anything into your Samsung account and it was much more straightforward once I decided to go through the Samsung website... Anyhow, as usual with modern day equipment the set up manuals are awful - the pictures often ambiguous and unless you know what the on-screen instructions are pertaining to (I didn't always - so often just googled them... or guessed!) then it can seem a little daunting. Anyway after around an hour (over half of this time was used up with the Samsung Account debacle) I was up and running. My wife hates the modern settings of these - they are much too contrasting and bright for her delicate little eyes and so I turned down both drastically. And, unlike some other TVs - it was really easy to change these settings (hurrah!) The picture quality on this TV is fabulous - at 50 inches on the diagonal it is a seriously big display for our small living room and it is pin-sharp. It dominates the whole room but then you are able to completely immerse yourself in a movie or series. You have a wide range of apps available to you including Amazon Prime, Disney, Netflix, Live-TV etc They all work perfectly (except Netflix... as I don't have a subscription for that!) I am finding it difficult to fault at the moment... ah yes - the remote... Well you get 2 remotes. One small one which is completely inadequate size-wise for anyone with adult sized hands and fingers - all of the main select/home buttons should be nice and big like on every other TV remote on the market. And the other remote - great idea with solar/recharge potential... but it's even tinier and almost unusable. So that's my summation of my fist few days. Great TV for picture and apps, let down a bit by the tiny remote control... I may need to see if there is another option on the market...

would be zero if possible. I did a lot of research before buying and the TV itself is has good resolution when watching up to 4K and also has good sound. It looks smart and is easy to operate, with a really good interface. The issue is brightness. Its really dark picture even when on the brightest possible settings. I called Samsung support and was told essentially that as this is an "entry level" tv this is the best it can do. If that's the case, then Samsung are knowingly selling TV's unfit for use, and even at the lower product range, that's unacceptable. It is for a small playroom so I never wanted to spend a fortune, but £400 is no small amount and this is (on certain shows) barely watchable, like watching TV with sunglasses on. There are better options for less money with better picture, and this is barely usable. Very disappointed and will never again buy a Samsung TV.

A vast improvement on my 10 year old previous TV! This is a budget TV... .the step up to the non-budget TVs is twice the price of this one roughly! 5* Great picture quality which has auto-adjustment depending on prevailing lighting conditions. Bright with good colour. 5* Very easy setup using QR codes and SmartThings phone app. Many great features including Alexa voice control. TV comes with two remote controls, the normal battery controller and a solar powered unit which has the voice control microphone. The SmartThings app has a remote control function, also. 5* for the choice of apps which is broader in range than my previous set which had a Smart button. This set's remote has Netflix and Amazon Prime on their own buttons. When you turn the TV on, it opens to the page where you can see all of the apps and the terrestrial programs and, from there you can decide where you are going... .rather than turning on to a terrestrial channel, hitting the Smart button finding the Netflix button... etc... .etc!! I have deducted 1* because although the TV is great with brilliant features, as a budget TV, it has an energy rating of G which is very poor. To put this into a context, I have just purchased a Vortex Air 1650W room heater which is A rated!!! Discuss.. .
