Mishimoto Transmission Cooler, Compatible with Toyota FJ Cruiser 2007-2014

Looks great, but i had to make some modifications to fit perfectly

Its very nice machining but I had to modify. No instructions. I found a video. Doesn't take into count a OEM brush guard install so couldn't install bottom bracket. The top bracket didnt line up either and had to go with a smaller bolt. And other issues. I might of returned it if i didnt have the FJ in pieces already

Easy install and factory fit. Seems to be well built. Just a note, was installed per instructions and video and cooling was not adequate if any. After some research and looking at other cooler mfg's and speaking with Misimoto's tech support, it was determined that the cooler should be installed AFTER the factory cooler not BEFORE as the instructions showed. A unforeseen parts store trip was made to purchase more hose,clamps and fluid to reconfigure fluid routing, after redoing I had a over 25 degree temperature drop from before under the same outside temps, humidity, vehicle speed and driving location. Tech support said it was going to confer with others on maybe changing the install.

Super easy mod,, only took about 30 minutes to install- (however, I did have the front mostly disassembled because I was adding a new bumper).

Easy to install and allows me to be worry free of my FJ overheating as I travel with my trailer.
