I am a woman who bought this for her hair. I understand that this is labeled as a "beard brush" but that's just the manufacturer pigeon-holing their product. Why did I want this tiny brush for my thick, wavy locks, you men might ask? Well... it's because I have a full size boars hair hair brush, but it is simply much too big for backpacking-camping. When every ounce of weight matters, and space inside my backpack is limited to what I absolutely NEED, it was imperative that I find a brush that is small and nearly weightless. This particular brush is great for you guys, as it will fit in your jeans pocket without you realizing the weight of it being there. For me, I throw it in my toiletries bag and I'm good to go! In the palm of my tiny woman hands, this brush works perfect. It fits across the width of my hand. That being said, for those of you with bigger hands than me the brush might seem smaller when using it, but that's kind of the point of this pocket brush. What I also like was that the brush is wide. I saw a few other beard brushes that were round, and I figured it would take forever to brush my hair with those. Since this allows you to brush more of your hair in fewer strokes, you can tidy up your beard hair in 1, 2 (maybe 3) and be done. This comes in great for me, as the more I brush my hair, the more hairs that will fall out of the follicle. One thing I noticed about this brush is that the bristles are a lot more firm than my regular hair brush. That will probably come in handy for thick beard hair. For me, I don't know that it is con just yet, but the brush still gets the job done. Overall, I encourage anyone to buy this product. Whether it's a man looking for a good beard brush or a girl who doesn't want to carry around a full-size hairbrush. This could be great in the car to smooth out your hair after having the windows down. Heaven knows I do that and my hair comes out looking like a rat's nest. I may even get an extra for my gym bag! Great product! Can't wait to use it on the trails... or elsewhere.

Hubby loves the bristles and how it works. Easily able to put in his briefcase and keep/use for the humid weather of Florida. Yes it is small but it’s perfect for travel and for brushing his mustache. My only complaint is that it’s not the same wood as pictured. The craftsmanship of the brush is well done but it doesn’t have the pretty two-toned look of the listing or scent of pear wood. I use a pear wood brush for my hair and the scent is so nice especially when blow drying and it’s slightly heated. Was hoping that it would be the same for my husband’s brush but its not. Overall though it’s a quality piece and will last for a long time.

This is a great brush. It’s convenient to put into pocket. I intended to use it for my head without taking too much pocket space like a full handle brush. Its stiffness is comparable to the WavEnforcer brush I got from the supermarket. It’s the stiffness I was looking for uncompared to the similar pocket brush product I ordered before this one from a different brand. This Zilberhaar brush is what I would call a true “stiff” brush. The photo I have with another brush came from a beauty store. It along with the Amazon product from the other brand I would both classify as “medium” stiffness.

(ZilberHaar Pocket Beard Brush-Soft, B073MBT413) As a craftsman, I use a LOT of brushes for a wide variety of purposes. This is a GREAT travel hair brush! A "soft" beard brush ... not so much. I'd rate it medium hard to stiff. The skin feel, bristle density and stiffness is almost identical to a $2.00 plastic fingernail scrub brush from the supermarket (yes... I've used both, this is NOT a criticism, just a comparison). Bristle length and cut are great for scalp but for me... too uneven for a short to medium(5-20mm {3/4"}) beard. Set bristle bundles and bristle length vary as much a 3mm with some of the shortest in the very center of the brush thus somewhat irritating to sensitive facial skin. It *is* good for initial detangling. The handle... very nice! The best part of the brush in my opinion. A perfect size for daily pocket carry. *Update (2/19/23) Uneven bristle length was resolved by careful re-profiling using a pair of electric hair clippers. I just purchased an another ZilberHaar pocket brush as I was always misplacing the original purchase. GOOD NEWS... this brush arrived nicely profiled and SOFT (compared to the 1st). Just right!!! As for the original... even after months of carrying in my jeans pocket the brush has held up very well. Not shedding bristles or losing shape.... impressive! Changing to 5 stars

I've only had this brush for a couple days and I already love using it. My beard is short so I went with the soft bristles. Works great on eyebrows too! I plan on giving a couple to my brothers as stocking stuffers. I suggest rinsing the bristles before using the first time. I didn't and all I could smell was sawdust for a couple hours. One rinse with cold water took care of that.

It is small. Like really small. Like pocket size small ^^ If you are wearing a gotee or a van dyke, this should get the job done. If you are building a connection with your bushy bearded large handed ancestors, this might feel like a toy to you. The bristles are stiff and might feel scrathy if you have a really short beard. But it is ideal with a month-long beard. Feels a bit pricey for such small package. But maybe this is the case where you pat extra for something intentionally small. Would buy again.

What a cracking little brush!! Beautifully made and finished... I was a little sceptical about the importance of brushing your beard... come on really?? Do I need to to that with such a short beard like mine?? Well all that hype and speil about removing dead skin and it evening out the hair... enhancing the look of your beard... all sales hype right?? WRONG!! The difference was instant and I could see the dead skin cells in the brush and and my beard... after one brush! And I wash and oil it morning and night... so this really hammered home how this little brush can make all the difference, no itching this morning either... don’t just look at it.... buy one... you’ll not regret it. I bought the little one too.... just as awesome (I am a private customer with no links to this company at all)

El producto parecía apuntar maneras de tener la calidad que le otorgan los usuarios... pero no fue mi caso al parecer. Dicen de esta versión que es suave , para nada se ajusta a lo que me ha llegado. Duro.. pero duro eh; Ni os lo replantéis si tenéis la piel sensible... o queréis un agradable masaje y peinando. Aparte un olor dudoso a producto de barba y la falta de la serigrafia característica del jabalí, han hecho por desgracia que abriese el producto y lo devolviese ipso facto. Una pena. No se ajusta a la descripción del producto. PD: "Macho, es que ni el jabalí pintado en la caja". Harto de publicidad engañosa a un coste de nada menos...17€

Me gustó mucho es un cepillo de cerdas duras, tiene un agarre cómodo es pequeño y ergonómico aparte de que estéticamente es muy bonito perfecto para el uso diario

When I received the item, it was clearly not new — the condition of the box made that obvious. The brush is meant for facial use, but it’s so rough it could practically make your face bleed.
