Unmatched Marvel: Teen Spirit - Miniature Wargame for 2-3 Players, Ages 14+

As always with Unmatched, the production quality is excellent: the miniatures, cards, and box are all top-tier. The characters in this set have their own unique mechanics, which makes them very fun to play against each other. As a standalone box, it works extremely well, and the heroines are charismatic and enjoyable to use. Now, playing devil’s advocate: when combined with other Unmatched sets, this box is among the weakest in the overall meta. If Squirrel Girl can defeat Thanos, Doom, and even Galactus in the comics, here she might realistically lose to the unlicensed cyclist who isn’t even a Marvel character (unfortunately, none of those characters exist in Unmatched). The same issue applies to the other two characters in the box. That said, this is not necessarily a drawback. If you enjoy playing characters like King Arthur but struggle because he is usually underpowered against other sets, this box provides ideal opponents—here, he can win comfortably. I use this box quite often because its mechanics are fun and it is perfect for playing with newcomers or players with little experience in Unmatched, as it helps balance the matches. Fun, well designed, and very enjoyable. 5/5.

unmatched is a great game. This set has great characters, well designed animated figures. It joins the unmatched world and can mixed and used with the other sets.
