We bought this as we had an entire house to paint. We put standard paint through it, once we got the viscosity right it made quick work of a wall. If you are looking for a sprayer for some light work then I’d recommend this one.Is it quicker than a roller? Depends, when painting the next day you can leave the roller in a plastic bag. This needs to be fully cleaned after each use. Factor in that time, along with getting the paint mixed, might even that out.Another difference to a roller is the texture. The spray will essentially have no texture and should be smooth. A roller leaves some minor textures, depending on the material is made up from.

I have used this for spraying a garden fence with fence guard and it did a great job. Very easy to use and clean and gives a good even coverage. The only downside is the small capacity reservoir which needs filling often. I bought a spare one so that I could have a full one ready when the one I was using ran out but even so it is still a bit of a chore to keep refilling. Overall though a really good sprayer which feels well made and will hopefully stand the test of time.

First, let me say that this was the first paint sprayer I have ever used after hearing bad reviews of paint sprayers in general from other people, I’m a perfectionist and I hate painting fences. I was using water-based sprayable fence paint diluted by 5-10% water (as per the instructions) onto brand-new unpainted fence panels. It is also worthy of note that I got through the paint at about twice the rate the manufacturer suggests you will on the side of the container, so make sure you buy enough.The spraygun itself is exactly as good as I could’ve expected it to be for £50. Easy to set up, easy to use and delivers a good finish, in general. Also very easy to clean. The only slightly negative side I have for the gun is that the pot which holds the paint is quite small, so you find yourself having to stop painting quite quickly to refill the pot again, but this is only a small downside. If you want a paint sprayer to do a few fence panels a year, this has worked well for me recently. A good paint sprayer. However...My question to you is whether you really need a paint sprayer depending on your needs and how much of a perfectionist you are.The gun is very good at painting flat fence panels which are not rough to touch. Because the spray comes out in quite a fine mist, it is not very good at giving an even and thick finish on the rougher areas as it is on the smooth areas of wood, and in the corners and the angles of the fence panels. The paint can also tend to run quite quickly if you cover an area with too much. You will therefore find yourself having to apply a second coat in order to get a deep and even finish. You will also need to use a brush to touch up the harder to reach corner areas of the panels. And depending on how much of a perfectionist you are you will also have to spend a reasonable amount of time masking up the areas that you don’t want to end up overspraying onto. And don’t even think about using this (or probably any spraygun) to paint the fence when there’s anything above about a 5 mph wind.In summary, if you are spraying a lot of flat fence panels where you don’t have a concern for overspray going onto your neighbours conservatory, kickboards which are of a different colour to the fence panel itself and you’re not a perfectionist about the detail of having to use a brush to get into the corners to get an even, thick-paint look then using a spray gun such as this will be right up your street because it is undoubtedly faster than doing it all by hand - and you won’t be disappointed with this model.But if you are a perfectionist and want a very even very high quality look to your fence panels, you will probably spend just as much time masking up areas you don’t want to spray by accident and touching up the areas that the gun can’t get to very well with a brush, so you might as well just do the whole thing by brush.

Got it at a good price. Worth a punt

Definitely something that produces results that improve with practice. Overspray is minimal- but still present, as is some odd thicker drops amongst general spray mist.Light unit & not too heavy.You need to anticipate at least 3 coats for good coverage- if doing furniture.Prep the spray room first- blankets etc behind item being sprayed to avoid overspray elsewhere .Overall- interesting to use. Was it quicker than a paint brush / roller- once setting up and cleaning is taken into account? I’m not convinced it was.The other issue with it - is that between coats - you need to clean the nozzle- unless you risk that drying/ clogging up. So more work- not needed when using a brush or roller.I like the idea- but in execution- not sure it works as well as it says on the tin.

This sprayer is an absolute beast and I can spray three panels in one stroke. I use ronseal dark oak one coat. This has a 600mls container and I put in 300mls ronseal and 270mls water and covers perfectly and dries amazing on my garden fence. Very powerful for 300w sprayer. The only stressful thing is you have to refill it every 8-9 panels but trust me it's well worth it for the quality of the sprayer. I couldn't ask for a better sprayer and I'm so happy and overwhelmed how it works. Don't look no further for a well priced sprayer. So guys if you want the best easy to use and reliable sprayer get this bad boy and you will be mind blown away 😂. Don't buy the most expensive ones this will do you for fence and metel and painting your house no problems and you can save quantity of paint with watering it down too. It works perfectly with thick paint too without clogging up. So save your cash and buy this and you would definitely thank me 👍👍👍

I've never used a spray gun before so it was a bit daunting initially.This gun has really clear instructions and so it was a breeze setting it up and using it.I would recommend it for hobby painting and bits and pieces around the home.

la prima volta che l'ho usata è andata in corto, purtroppo la vernice è penetrata nell'avvolgimento elettrico e l'ha mandata in corto, non so se è stato a causa di un difetto di fabricazione o di progettazione.L'ho rinviata ad amazon che ha provveduto a rimborsarmi prontamente

Le produit en lui-même est bien , mais nous sommes très contrariés car après seulement 2 utilisations dans le respect des règles et avec soin et précautions , l’appareil n’a plus fonctionné brutalement. Avons dû interrompre les travaux après avoir préparé le chantier. Retour à Amazon avec demande de remboursement après avoir signalé le problème. C’est dommage car l’appareil en lui même rend bien service. Un produit peut malheureusement être défectueux...
