Shimano Spares Disc brake mineral oil 1 litre, Red

I bought this for my son who looks after his own bike and he was very happy with it. It is a good quality mineral oil and the litre bottle is generous, so it will last him through plenty of brake services. He said it was easy to work with and gave a smooth, responsive feel once everything was bled properly. The colour makes it simple to see what you are doing and to check when the old fluid is fully flushed out. The bottle is sturdy and pours cleanly which helps avoid any mess in the shed. He has already used it on two bikes and still has plenty left. If you have someone in the family who does their own bike maintenance, this is reliable, good value and does exactly what it should. My son was really pleased with it and says he would happily buy it again.

Good quality mineral oil

I'm always a little cautious over genuine products but I can safely say that what I received was genuine Shimano and therefore, up to Shimano's OEM quality. This was very well priced at the time of purchase compared to their competitors. I used these to bleed some Shimano XT 4pot brakes and it worked perfectly (not much that can really go wrong really). After bleeding the air out of the system these performed perfectly as you'd expect. Mineral oil is great as it doesn't strip paintwork which gives me more confidence during bleeding.

Bought for use on a Shimano SLX BR-M7120 4 piston brakeset. Nothing more to say than it's a genuine product which has allowed the brakes to be kept well bled. 1 litre should go a long way so will last a long time for a home mechanic.
