It's really interesting and fun, there are some mildly scary parts but it all works out. There is great music in it! I loved Beep-bop. My favourite bit is when they played spaceband for the first time!

Bought for grandchildren, great story

My boys loves this author. And is loving this book the interactive songs are a brilliant idea to keep them motivated to keep on reading to the next one.

Love the fact there's an album to go with this book. Frustrating most of the songs are front loaded, but it's really a cool feature that brought a new element to our reading.A nightly read with my 5 year old, we both couldn't wait to see what would happen next, some really great characters we fell in love with included some nods for the grown ups to Tom's McFly career ("Star Girl" for example).This is a really simple story to follow without playing down. It's got exciting twists and turns and we loved it. It's sparked a while swathe of TF book purchases, the addition of "The Creakers" at the back was good to lead onto that book, just be warned if you don't have a copy to hand it does lead to a cliffhanger young ones might not like.Chapters were a bit long to do one a night, but we found plenty of places to take a break and pick up with ease the following day. Well done Mr. F! Hopefully you get credit due soon in form of one of those films they put on TV over Christmas!!

my 8 year old loves this series of books

This is such a fun book to get the most reluctant readers. I used it with a class I taught and they kept singing the songs which go with it. So much so, the other classes were asking to read the book. Fun, exciting, entertaining with fun songs.

Was a gift for my daughter, she loved it! And now, she has read it multiple times.

My 9 year old grandson was so pleased to have this book
