With my continuing hearing loss, I needed a way to make sure that I wake up in the morning on time. After reading reviews, I chose this product (Coolfire - Vibrating Alarm Clock Sweatband.) Have been using for 3 weeks now and it works great for me. The iPhone app is well designed and very easy to use. I can set multiple alarms, check the battery status, adjust the vibration intensity, etc. I set mine on Medium and that works just fine. I can snooze it multiple times if I'm still sleepy. I haven't explored adjusting any settings on the watch itself - again the app is so easy to use, and since I don't sleep with my glasses on, I can't see it anyway. So my "Easy to read" rating relates to the watch itself and my eyesight, not the app. My only nit is that the wristband is a little tight for me - I wear an XL shirt, but my arms/wrists aren't beefy. But once I have it on, I can fall asleep. The instructions say that the watch needs to be charged monthly, but after 3 weeks my battery still has almost a full charge. Note that the watch end of the charging cable is a non-standard connector. I taped a label to the cable so I wouldn't forget which device it's for.

Worked great for two months. Then I charged it. It fully charged, but then stopped connecting to the app. Button does not work anymore. Anything I do will not connect to the app. I wrote to customer support, but I have low confidence that some company in hong kong will actually replace the product.

It works great. Way better than the other one from Coolfire. The setup with my phone was easy and quick. The vibration power and display light are way better. The UI of the app is better than the button interface of the older model. The battery life is great and it charges very fast.

I've lost my hearing, so an alarm clock is useless. This works great. I tried an alarm watch that looks like a regular watch. It was uncomfortable, hard to set, and broke quickly. This watch is a whole other animal. It's so comfortable! It just cuddles up to your wrist. It's stretchy, so it's easy on or off, but it never feels tight. It hugs your wrist comfortably, just tight enough to stay in place and feel good. I downloaded the app to my iPhone, and I've never had a watch that's so easy to operate. It disconnects from the phone after a few minutes to save the battery. You push the button on the front for three seconds, and it's connected. I did not have to fight with it to connect, as I do with other things that connect to an app. This is just easy and comfortable, and I love it. Also, I tried the vibration on the medium setting. I'm a heavy sleeper, and it woke me right up.

5 months in owning this and as of a month ago this thing stopped alarming on time. I have to manually toggle alarm off and back on every night on the phone app to get the alarm to function on time every day. It's great when it's working properly, but it loses its ability to track its own alarms.

The watch is great, but it had the wrong USB charging cord in the package

First time I’ve been compelled to write a review in my life. I previously purchased this last academic year and it served as a trusty alarm clock for months. I retired it over summer and ended up loosing the cord so I repurchased the whole shabang to make sure I would wake up effectively for this one specific final I have to take but it immediately stopped working after I plugged it in to check the charge. So disappointing & there’s no customer troubleshooting for this. Never burning again. :(

This works very well for me. If you have large wrists, it might be a little uncomfortable. It charges quickly and holds a full charge for weeks. It has never been unreliable when I used the app correctly. It is VERY important to leave the app open and running or the alarms will not sound. I found that out the hard way, but I always set a backup real alarm just in case. This does not wake my partner who has a very different work/sleep schedule than I have.

I have been using this for 5 weeks and it is perfect for my needs. I lost hearing in one ear due to autoimmune conditions so, as a side sleeper, if I was sleeping in my ‘good ear’ I just did not hear the normal (loud) alarm going off . This was easily set up after downloading the app and I can set the alarm for the full week or choose to disable just by toggling on/off in the app. I use it on the high level vibrate as I need to get up for work and want o be sure and it works really well. The full charge is lasting weeks and re-charge is fast. The face lights up when the button is pressed but goes off after a few seconds so does not disturb. It has a 5 minute snooze function (well used !) as you just briefly press the button when the alarm goes off to set this and a longer button press turns the alarm off. So easy. This has made such a difference to me. The band is comfortable to wear. The metal back gets a little sweaty against your skin but nothing to complain about and it is certainly more comfortable than wearing a watch in bed. I tried my digital watch on vibrate but that is a barely-there vibration which did not wake me from a deep sleep, whereas this item provides a significant (and adjustable) vibration on your arm which succeeds in waking you. I now use it confident in the knowledge it will wake me at the desired time.

I bought this alarm in march of this year. Being a very heavy sleeper my iphone alarms are more likely to wake every one up before me and this was becoming a huge problem. I found this wrist alarm which had no reviews then but seemed a novel idea whereas there there were other vibrating alarms that had to be put under the pillow etc. this has become one of best purchases of all time as this alarm wakes me up every time without the hassle of waking others up as well. It has five different alarms which can be set for different times. The vibrations are very strong and kind of loud as well. Now a few cons: This alarm has a charging cable that is not readily available and i have no idea what will do if it breaks. The pins on the alarm seem fragile as well but i only need to charge every few weeks. The alarm can only be changed from the app. The app is a bit clunky and should be updated. The price point is a bit forbidding for people when a normal person can get the functionality from a smartwatch. Pro now: This is guaranteed to wake up a heavy sleeper. Sometimes my iphone alarm won’t go off as there is a software issue that is discussed often on the internet but this alarm has had no issues. It is a very sturdy device that has lasted me almost a year of constant use. Overall I think this alarm deserved a long term which I have provided and no seller has not contacted me apart from the first time standard message through Amazon immediately after the sale. I think anyone who is a heavy sleeper will find this a Godsend.

The iPhone app isn’t available in the UK, so the alarm doesn’t work for me. Why bother selling to me in the UK?
