I love the product, it does the job need for my cracked ribs. I am only returning it because one of the seams on the Velcro has come un-sewn. I have ordered a replacement!

Having 2 broke upper ribs… compared to the ace bandage I was using, it is like nite and day! A lot more support, don’t hurt have as bad when I sneeze or cough! It is very easy to use. Highly recommend for broke or cracked ribs!! Seems like it will last a long time. (Good Quality) You can wear it directly onto skin or over a thin tank top or tshirt. Size-Large I am 6ft 1in tall. 160lbs

The Solmyr rib brace belt appears to be functioning as-intended, thusfar. The elasticized suspenders are pretty useless. The suspenders, in their relaxed state, are way too short. The suspenders have to be stretched near their elastic limit in order to attach. The stretched elasticized suspenders quickly become uncomfortable in the shoulder/trapezius area and, additionally, will put uplift force on the belt to cause the belt to "ride-up". Prior to purchase, I read the 1 star review about 'welts' and questionable 'materials of construction'. That review certainly caused me some concern about purchasing. I received the belt and there was that 'new foam' smell. The smell went away after about 3 days. I wear a t-shirt and then the belt over the t-shirt; no welts or anything on the skin, thusfar. FWIW, I purchased the belt under the heading of rib brace belt. The packaging that it was received in indicated that it could be used as a rib belt or a lumbar support belt. If used as a lumbar support belt, the elasticized suspenders will be less than useless. The Solmyr manufacturer seal on the plastic packaging was already torn open when received. The belt inside appeared as advertised; no apparent switch-a-roo or anything, the packaging did not indicate the size. Mine seems to fit me so no quibble here. I point out the packaging only because some customer reviews and the ordering instructions seem to focus on girth sizing discrepancies.

I was concerned when purchasing this product. I’ve had chronic problems with my ribs. Been to countless chiropractors, this really provided the support you need. I’ve worn in while working and playing. I was able to play 36 holes of golf without problems with my ribs. It was very comfortable wearing, size was right for me and I’ve machine washed it several times.

Hurt while on but did the job

Bought this for my husband and he's very pleased. It fits perfectly, is very durable and comfortable for him. The straps keep it from slipping, like so many others. And the Velcro makes it easy to adjust.

Useless for my ribs I fractured 4 and this did not help

This binder was recommended to me by a doctor friend because I was being too stubborn to get an x ray but after my rib either dislocated or broke I found myself continuously holding my rib in place because the pressure of it forcing its way out of place during everyday movement was being painful and very restricting to everyday activities and tasks at work….. I got the medium size made off my waist and back measurement it’s a perfect fit and very supportive. I don’t even have to hold my rib in place every moment of the day so I hope it fitting perfectly I hope that it helps to speed up the healing process

I have to say, I didn’t want to think this product would work. Because I had ordered another back thing from someone else on Amazon and it was terrible. But!!! This one is perfect. Fits well. Not too clunky, I wear a thin tshirt underneath it as the material is a little hard for my skin. But it’s a great product. And definitely makes me feel better!!! Thank you. Also assists with posture issues.
