Not to be compared with cheaper versions. Holds the heat in for my coffee for about 3hrs.Metal outer is powder coated, so really robust.

Mate happy with it

I bought one of these to test the size. It fits the VW cup holder perfectly, so then bought another three. These went to the kitchen for a pre first use wash and got left in the sink with water. The internals of the cups filled up with water. I removed the foam on the bottom to find a screw holding the internals of the cup to the bottom disc of the cup, which appears to be lightly tack welded to the external edge. Its not waterproof though so water easily gets in. So suggest only giving the cups a quick rinse and not submersing in water. The internal nut came off one of the cups and is rolling round inside and the screw won't go back in. Really disappointed with the quality of the design, and surprised this was taken on by VW as an official product.

Really disappointed with this item. Purchased as a birthday present for my son, who has a VW Campervan. After a couple of uses the bottom became detached, then the rim came apart. Total waste of money.

The cup is very nice (not yet used as bought for a gift).Should probably have thought about the size - it will be a small mug of tea !
