Good quality, strong magnet!

I bought this to try and fish a screw my toddler dropped into the washing detergent drawer space of my washing machine but sadly this wire was too thick, not long enough, and not flexible enough to make it into the hole. Returns were also very difficult so gave up.

Did the job I bought it for, a 10mm socket had dropped into an inaccessible space on my bike it was slim enough to get past all the wiring etc and retrieve the socket, I don't think the magnet is as strong as advertised so 4 stars.

My partner decided to change the bolts on the fuel filter of the car in the dark last night and the spare bits from the screwdriver that stow in the handle fell out and got lost somewhere under the engine block. The heat shield meant they didn't fall straight through to the ground but we couldn't see them or get to them. Ordered this very cheap tool with next day delivery late last night, arrived this afternoon and within seconds (almost accidentally and quite unexpectedly) it picked up the bits! Saved the car and a few £££'s paying a mechanic to either get them out or having to rebuild the engine 😂 We were sceptical as to the magnet strength and flexibility - but it was just right for the job and exceeded expectations! Can't wait to find something else to use it for! Very functional and feels durable. Not too heavy.

Managed to lose a t-shaped bolt inside the sill of my van, I had no idea where it was within the sill either, very frustrating!! This tool was flexible enough to fit in the tight space and I managed to retrieve it in a matter of minutes - did exactly what I needed it to do and I am 100% sure it will come in handy in the future - how long it will last I don't know as the quality isn't brilliant, but it is so reasonably priced it doesn't matter. Couldn't find anything like this at the usual car, DIY or tool shops - all I found was double the price and either too big or not as flexible!
