L'Oreal Paris Infallible Grip Mechanical Gel Eyeliner Pencil, Smudge-Resistant, Waterproof Eye Makeup with Up to 36HR Wear, Polar White, 0.01 Oz

i have 70+ eyes, I use this just on the underside of the top of my eyelids. No smudges, no lines, and it for sure brings out the color of my eyes. I no longer wear foundation, just a bit of liner and mascara. too old to really care but still want to look nice. Has wonderful pigmentation, super easy to apply and lasts till I wash it off. sure wish this was around when i was younger. Have been using more and more Loreal products lately, Guess they are coming out with products that appeal to the older gals. younger ones, too. Thumbs up!!!

I wore it all day today. When I got home. Eye make up was better than anything I have tried. I can smudge it with my fingers now. But it never transferred to my crease line. That’s great in my opinion for the price! I’d say quality, texture, color, longevity, stay on is all better than anything I’ve used.

This is a very nice mechanical gel eyeliner. Since I have mature eyelids, I like that I don't have to pull on my eyelids to apply the liner. It does not smear ( I wear eye shadow base). The color is nice, I ordered a dark blue one.

*The lighting is not great in my video. For better reference, I have between very light to light and neutral toned skin on the back of my hand. My face color is actually darker... falling between light and light-medium and taking on a slightly warmer tone (when comparing to the spectrum of very basic concealer colors found in most drugstores). This will explain how I'm able to use the eyeliner the way I do given the way it shows up on my hand in the video. I thought this liner would be a bit lighter than it actually was. Turns out it was just a 1-2 shades light enough for me to use as a faint highlighter on my brow bones and under my eyes, towards the inner corners. It doesn't look good on my water-line (right above the lower lashes). It ends up making me look sickly and weird if I try to wear it like that. It matches too closely with my overall skin color/shade and makes the little bit of warmth I have on my face look like a washed out yellow tone. It basically makes me look like I have glossy eyeballs, tiny eyes, a weird bottom lash line, and questionable for jaundice. (It might work better on the water line for people with darker skin or possibly cooler skin tones.) I'd consider the bright nude to have a mostly neutral tone. People with pale, fair skin likely couldn't use it for highlighting and brightening. I think it would be too dark. It's like a pale nude color. Those with fair to light skin may actually be able to use it as a concealer. (It would probably make a great spot concealer, TBH.) This liner has a lot of great qualities about it... The mechanical pencil design works well. The liner is firm enough not to melt all over the place if you try to apply it like an eyeliner. But it goes on smoothly so there's no need for a lot of pressure or tugging. The cap seals securely and prevents it from drying out. The pigment is rich, even for such a pale color. There is a pencil sharpener built in on the end with the sponge tip. I haven't needed to use it for this liner given I use it as a highlighter/brightener. But it has come in handy with my other eyeliner that doesn't have a built in sharpener. The sponge tip is adequate and actually works for blending. I use it a little aggressively and haven't had any plastic or rough parts poke thru yet. It's easy to wash, too. Even though the liner glides on smooth and creamy, it sets very quickly. I guess this could be a good or bad thing depending on how you want to use the liner. I could see it being beneficial for those who are able to use this on their water line. But for me, it's a bit of a nuisance. (Watch the video & see why.) This liner is amongst the last things I'll apply to my face when wearing make up. It's because I have to move fast to get it to blend smoothly. I can't just drag the color over an area and wait to blend it later. I really don't have much time to fumble with other things, like looking for my favorite beauty blender. When this thing sets in place, it's pretty much set. It's easily blendable within the first 10 seconds of applying it. After that, it begins to "dry" in place. I'm still able to blend it after 10 seconds, but the more I wait, the more difficult it becomes to blend away all streakiness. If I wait more than a minute, it becomes too much of a hassle to try to blend around my sensitive eye skin. But this liner will blend. And if done properly, it blends beautifully. It almost seems to disappear into my skin or become gradient with other colors. Sometimes I'll blend this with dots of frosted white liner for a brighter effect. The bright nude color is matte, so even though it works as a highlighter, the effect it has is pretty subtle. I would buy this item again. I would recommend it to others. I would just caution that it may not work out as expected if you're skin is very light or beyond. Still, it's blendable. It makes a great base for powder eye shadow and blends well with other creamy stick liners. I'd be interested in buying other colors from this line. The bright nude liner has been impressively smudge resistant, waterproof, and long lasting. I don't have to touch up thru out the day. I just have to worry about applying it properly the first time and getting it all off at night.

This is the absolute best eyeliner I have ever used and I have tried almost every single drugstore eyeliner that I could find. Apply it and unlike most others, it stays where you put it. It's even great for water lines, which is what I'd been searching for. One of the best features is the sharpener on the opposite end so no more scratching your eyes with the type that have to be sharpened by a cosmetic sharpener. L'Oreal ... I love this liner!

It's definitely smudge resistant, but it's also remove resistant. It's so incredibly difficult to get this stuff off. Additionally, it dried up on me after opening it. Wouldn't recommend unfortunately - I had such high hopes.

I really like this eyeliner. It's goes on smooth (no crumbling) and stays smooth until it's gone. the quality is soft and does not irritate my eyes or skin around my eyes. Comes off easy with eye-makeup remover. I used to buy MAC eye pencils, which crumble by the time it's about half used. L'Oreal's gel eyeliner pencil does not crumble and is the only reason I am re-purchasing and will repurchase again.

Once it sets it stays put on my waterline maximize my lash line eyelashes look, thick and lush! no irritation and it removes easily with eye make up remover or w/cold cream. Love it!

I have brown eyes and blonde hair, so I've always been wary of using dark eyeliners. But this brown eyeliner matches my colouring nicely. I use it on my upper waterline. It glides on very easily. However, it doesn't have the best longevity. It starts fading within a few hours, and is totally gone by 6-8h. I still really like how it goes on and how it looks, I just wish it lasted longer.
