Great alternative to solar powered remote
I have Samsung Oled 4K TVs throughout my house, and I find the remote that comes with the TV is hard to use because it doesn’t have the traditional buttons and it’s not user friendly. I’m in my 60’s, and prefer using this traditional remote control for its ease of use and functionality. It comes preloaded with buttons for Netflix, Hulu, and Samsung TV, and you can search for specific buttons like Disney+, Prime Video or other streaming platforms. You will have to install two AA batteries when you get it, and replace them every so often versus the solar powered remote which constantly charges by light or a usb-c cable but that’s the only downside. It also pairs instantly with any Samsung TV and does not require programming. For its price and ease of use , I highly recommend it.

Worked as advertised, no setup required.
Everything works like it should, so can't complain. Added batteries and ready to go. I don't like the button layout too much, particularly the direction buttons, as compared to the original TV remote - but admit may be personal preference.I will note that it did not arrive in a box, but it was wrapped in bubble wrap,and shipped in a padded envelope. There was no documentation.

Samsung and Sonos not working together
I purchased a new Samsung tv and a Sonos AV system and I found out afterwards that the Sonos speaker requires an IR signal to operate. The new Samsung remotes don’t provide IR so I had to purchase this generic remote so my Sonia would operate properly. I actually like the generic remote better because it has quick buttons to get straight to the streaming services. I bought two, one for each couch and I put the Samsung remote in the drawer.

It didn't work
I have put multiple batteries in this. When I pressed the on button, the tv turns on and off many times on it's own. It worked normally for a bit. I turned off the tv without issues. When I tried turning it on again, the problems returned. I looked online for solutions, but nothing worked. Frustrating.

Much better than the remote that came with the TV.
This was to replace the remote that came with the TV. Same brand as the original but a lot easier to use.
