I bought these for an elderly family member with developing dementia. She stores her nuts in them. I hear about how much she loves them every time I walk in her apartment -- that would be at least twice a week. Before she had 3 canisters I think she chose because she thought they would please her deceased husband. When she accidentally broke one, I bought these thinking these would tickle her and only her, and was I right. They are feminine and sweet, just like she is. Plus, they have just the right amount of seal on the top to keep things fresh but not so tight that she can't remove the top. Perfection.

Not airtight!! Thin. 2 hands to get it open. I'm so afraid of breaking these, I don't really want to use them. I wouldn't have bought them if I had touched them in a store.
