Timex expedition watch.
Lovely watch. For my collection. Easy to read and indigo also. Nice sized dial. Very happy with this purchase.

Looks more expensive than it is.
Sporty and sturdy Watch that fits just right. Although this Watch is full-sized, it does not feel or look big at all on my small wrist. Good size, good comfort, good looks and good time keeping. I like the sound of the second hand; it is not really as loud as some reviewers have said. Nice indiglo light too! Overall a good Watch at a very good price. It actually looks and feels more expensive than it is. I recommend it.

Keeps good time!
A good basic watch but I hate the strap with a vengeance! How anyone can make a mess of designing a watch strap is beyond me but somebody at Timex has succeeded with flying colours. Once the watch is on the wrist and the strap is threaded into the retaining loop, it’s a fight to get it back out. I bought this watch mainly because it has a back light and apart from the strap I’ve been pleased with it as it keeps good time. It’s not of the same quality as a Timex reef gear watch which I had up to a few years ago but in fairness neither is it as expensive. To summarise if I ever damaged this watch I’d buy the same again but I’d certainly be fitting another strap

Good face, reliable time, night-light, water-resistant and rugged.
I wanted a rugged analogue watch with reliable easy to read time - including a light button for night - water resistant in case I forget to take it off in the shower, and which does not fall off the wrist. In all those things it is good and I like the way the strap clicks in firmly at whatever width you choose. I have quite a large wrist and this fits well. My only complaints (and I cannot remove a star for this because I wanted it just for telling the time) is that it stupidly has a date window which if you want it to be accurate involves you every month in a finger-shredding 10-minute twiddling procedure (you'll soon get sick of that): the other naff feature is the outer bevel wheel which is difficult to turn and will not be used by 99% of purchasers anyway. I wanted an easy to read by day or night, accurate waterproof timepiece. This is perfect. Steve Riches, northampton, UK.

Timex Expedition
Firstly for anyone who thinks the size of a watch is the most important thing. This watch measures 47mm in diameter including the crown and is 12mm thick so it is a pretty big watch. I would normally keep well away from a watch this big because I have thin wrists. However because I found it very difficult to get accurate information about sizes even after phoning suppliers, which is a complete joke, I took a chance and bought this just because it is cheap and cheerful. (I think it shows on Amazon as being 43mm wide and I hoped at the time this was including the crown). Anyway it has really grown on me and strangely I now like the size. It is a very good quality watch ideal for everyday use. It has a big face and the light is great. Someone else was concerned about how easy it will be to scratch the face, I bought some watch glass protectors off ebay so I anticipate having this watch for a very long time. If you want a cheap watch for knocking about in that looks far more expensive than it actually is (£[])buy one, even if you'd normally go for something smaller.

Nice Watch, But Disappointing Performance
I got this watch a couple of months ago. It looks great and is comfortable to wear, but recently it started losing time—around 3 to 4 minutes per day—which means I have to keep readjusting it. It could be the battery, but it seems too soon for it to be running low. I also use this watch during watersports, so I’m concerned that replacing the battery might compromise its water resistance. It’s really disappointing, as it’s a nice-looking watch.

Good purchase
A fine watch. 55 years after being gifted my first watch, a Timex, I have reverted to the brand, for an ideal and reasonable waterproof watch

Good Value!
What's not to like. very reasonable price for a reliable product that looks good (if this is the style you are looking for). I already owned an earlier Expedition for 3 years and saw this with Sapphire glass so was tempted. I have swopped out the plastic strap for a Terrain Velco strap - not so sweaty and also doesn't rotate on my wrist (which must be an odd shape). There are products out there at 5-10 times the price that struggle to look as good and perform as well. It's stayed accurate to a couple of seconds over the first 6 weeks (possibly better) and based on my previous version I expect to get at least 3 years battery life provided I am sparing with the illuminator - the residual glow from the hands lasts for an hour or two at night.
