we bought this over 3 different times and all three times it has been successfully working and is very sturdy. DISCLAIMER - its a toy meant for kids, if you would like a real safe, then this is probably not the one to get, it says in the name it is a piggy bank so it makes sense. To reset the password all you have to do is remove and insert the batteries for it to be reset to 0000. Great toy for kids to put their allowance or sorts of money in.

A great gift for kids! It’s great to teach kids the importance of saving money and this is an excellent first step, as well as a fun present. I have given this to my 6 year old son and a few of his friends for birthday gifts. Oh, and bonus!! He has been extra helpful around the house.. asking to do extra chores for money. He loves the fact that it’s his own little bank, and skidding a dollar bill into a secure place of his own makes him feel so good. The code is easy to reset and very parent friendly. Teaching kids about saving and keeping money in a safe place is something I love to do as I wasn’t taught that as a child, so learned the hard way... as many of you can probably relate to. I highly recommend this.
