Mathez Chocolatier French Cacao Truffles 500g (Gold)

I bought these for my mum's 70th birthday. She knows her truffles and she really loved them so I'm confident they are worth it!

Excellent product. Gifted it twice and was asked for more ;-)

Each container comes with two of the silver bags. I saw this chocolate brand on the flight back from Italy on United Airlines. The chocolate truffles are about twice the size compared to the mini bags that I got in the plane. Tastes the same though, and it's got that melty texture bang on. I was scared that the chocolate was gonna come melted, but thankfully it didn't. I don't know if this happened because the weather was cold the past few days, but the chocolate didn't come with anything that would help with not melting. Just the container. In the Summer though, the seller might send it with ice packs or something.

I first tasted this on an international flight, this was served to passengers, I loved it so much that I saved the wrapper so I can remember its name. I was happily surprised when I found it on Amazon, it was (is) pricey but I decided to buy it anyway. It arrived as one big -no, small- hard blob! It looked like it melted first then got frozen, I had to pry it loose with a knife! The cacao dusting which made this chocolate special was gone, It also was not much content despite the price point. It was sealed and all so I still tasted it, the chocolate tasted the way I remembered it on that flight, so creamy (hence the 1 star) but it made me nauseous later. I wasted my money! Buyer beware!

Einfach lecker! Hab sie überall gesucht. Günstig nicht aber man kann sich ja mal was gönnen. Ich verschenke sie gern. Die Dose ist dafür ideal! Mal was anders als Pralinen aus dem Karton.
