What a game changer! This is a great jerky gun. Very well made. It holds a lot so you're not constantly reloading. Smooth operation. Makes making jerky much faster and consistent pieces.

So far so good. We have used the jerky gun twice since we received it. We found it to be easy to use and to clean. The fact that cleaning accessories came with the gun is a definite plus!

Started making my own ground jerky this fall. This gun fit the bill! Easy to assemble, use and clean. It would be nice if the tube held at least 2 pounds, but it's no big deal for what I do! Great product!

Works as advertised and allows me to make easy to chew venison sticks for my children. We misplaced the piston after just a couple months and the seller promptly sent me a new one A+ customer service!

I bought this for making treats for my dogs and cats. The all natural treats with no additives or preservatives are getting stupid expensive. Just for a 48 oz bag of my dog's favorite jerky is almost $30. I have found that making my own treats in my dehydrator saves me right around $12 per batch. In the photos I am adding the finished product. So now for the jerky gun review. It is perfect for what I am doing. It is easy to assemble and disassemble. It's also very easy to clean. The gasket is a common size that could be replaced pretty easy when this one reaches the end of its life. I love that it comes with so many attachments. Because I am trying to keep my cost per treat down I switch between different heads. Please see photos above. I tried to make some of these jerky strips thin enough to crumble them into smaller pieces so that my cats can also enjoy some homemade treats. The handle itself has plastic parts but I have used it now 6 different batches of treats and it holds up pretty well. As far as bang for your buck, I feel like I got a great deal . It comes with multiple brush sizes to clean the multiple head tools. Just as it states it holds 2 pounds of finely ground meat. The only improvement I feel could be expanded upon as seen in the picture, With the excess meat in the head tool, is that the plunger included with this jerky gun, fits the gun perfect, but does NOT quite fit the nozzle head, meaning there's always a little bit of meat leftover I simply roll it into a small meatball. If I had to purchase another one I would definitely look for something with all stainless steel parts. But I realize I would be paying a much higher price. Now that I know that I can save right around $12 per 48 oz treats made and I can control the ingredients, This tool will definitely be used weekly.
