Why does it say “made for pets, not you”? If they are only sweet potatoes, why isn’t it human grade?

"Made for pets" means it's tastes good and safe for pets. Human food is full of salts and sugars. Plus these don't taste good to humans ;). My pup loves them tho

If you’re asking about the sweet potato treats, then yes, they are low protein. The only ingredient is sweet potatoes, which are mostly carbohydrates; a medium sweet potato has only 2-3g protein. Healthy adult dogs should get about 1-1.5g/lb protein per day. So even a 3 lb teacup poodle would have to eat the equivalent of 2-3 sweet potatoes of these treats to reach her daily protein requirement.

The calories are not listed. The size of the pieces vary. The package suggests 2-3 per day for dogs under 20 lbs. and 2-5 per day for dogs over 20 lbs. The pieces are breakable. We give our 7 lb. dog 1 small piece in the morning and 1 small piece at night.
