Bought this black tent for camping in Alaska in the summer. It was dark enough that we were actually able to sleep even when the sun did not go down. Because it is black, it can get a bit warm during the day, but the large mesh windows help a lot with airflow. We didn’t spend much time in it during the day, so this didn’t bother us. It can be put up by one person but is much easier with two people. One room fits queen blow up mattress. Have had it for a few years now and have not had any issues. It has not ripped or anything, so it seems durable. I have not used it in the rain, so I cannot comment on it being water proof or not.

Not all camping is sunny and that’s when having a sturdy little tent can matter. Such was our trip :) we had 6 days of cold rain and wind, on and off, and I was surprised at how well the tent stood up to the elements. DURABILITY: I had waterproofed the seams (recommendation of another reviewer here - thanks!) and there was no leakage or drips. I loved how the whole thing opens up when it’s warm and sunny. Gives you shade when there are none. It’s perfect and looks very rad. …..But when it’s windy and rainy you can zip all that up and kinda become a turtle. It’s great. With a couple of people it even keeps a bit warm. Heaters help (watch your airflow) like what you see in the vid. Even with HEAVY winds, the tent did a great job of bending and not breaking. Roominess: I put a queen mattress and slept in here just myself and the dogs (my kids are older now and like their own space) and it was great! The front room back room setup segments things out well. However, this would have worked well with younger kids and sleeping pads really well too. I could have gotten all 5 of mine when they were small and still afraid of the dark in one room cozily - then had the second one for the adults and gear Surprisingly good value!! I searched thru a TON of tents and this is a great find.

This is not the tent for you hard-core campers, but more for my glamping girls! My boyfriend was giving me so much crap about buying this tent, but as soon as soon as he used it, thought it was so sick. It’s spacious. We had a queen size air mattress in there and it took up about half the tent that could be closed up as if you’re in your own room. The other half can be used for storage and getting ready. It also rained almost immediately after we got the rain fly up, but kept dry all night.

The instructions it came with were not helpful. Pretty much just when with logic. The tent when put up is amazing. Definitely buy a tarp for the bottom. The lining seems fragile.

It’s hard to find a tent that has a full rain fly that is also a cabin tent. I used it for a 5 night camping trip and wanted to make sure I got one that could hold up to some rain. The 4th day a big thunderstorm came through with 15 mph winds and rained all day and night. Since I wasn’t sure how this tent would hold up in the weather I spent the day in the nearest town. But when I came back there was not a drop inside. There were some dark spots on the floor from the pooling water underneath the tent, almost like the water was trying to seep through but couldn’t, and was still dry. Before packing up the tent I let the bottom air dry completely which took about 20 mins. Next time I would use some water proofing spray on the bottom of the tent which would prevent that. But I’m very impressed, and definitely use the guy lines if you’re expecting a storm. Otherwise I love the cabin style and it was glamping for 1 person. It would be a tight fit for 2 people, but cozy for a couple. Without the rain fly on a nice day had great airflow. It is very dark inside with the rain fly on, but I prefer the benefit of weather protection. Although the darkness was nice for sleeping in. Setting up with 1 person is doable, takes a bit longer than most tents I’m used to but I’m sure I’ll get faster at it. Loved looking up at the trees without the rain fly and falling asleep listening to the birds. So relaxing.

The tent has been used twice and so far great. It hasn’t been tested in the rain but I’m not to worried. The only down fall is that there is no “door” to close when the awning is open. Just the mesh window. It is a very easy set up

I recently took the Vidalido 4-6 Person Camping Tent on a weekend getaway, and I was really impressed with how it performed. One minor downside is that the tent is a bit on the heavier side compared to ultralight models, so it may not be ideal for backpacking. However, for car camping, it’s the perfect balance of spaciousness and durability. Overall, the Vidalido 4-6 Person Camping Tent is an excellent choice for family or group camping trips. It’s easy to set up, weather-resistant, and offers plenty of room and comfort. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable, well-built tent for their outdoor adventures!

The bottom is very thin. Not a great material. You could definitely work around the water issue with super nice tarps (I would suggest using more than one), but we plan to use ours for a really long time. If you are looking for a more budget friendly option and not planning to use it long term, think it could still be a good option. It is super roomy. Decided to spend more on something more durable.
