Q: Is this a mattress protector?

I use this topper for as a mattress protector and it also feels great. It adds a bit of height also . I love this topper especially for the comfort and it's cool. For the price that I paid for this topper it's the best. I believe that you would love it. The height may go down in a small area of the topper when that happens I throw it in the dryer on low heat for 10 to 15 minutes.

Q: Does it make you hot?

It does sleep a little hot, not a lot though and the additional comfort is totally worth it!
