It is indeed a top globe, but...
This is a great globe, well made, clear to read, and the illumination is good. But it's a shame the power cable is so short. Many other previous reviewers have said the same thing, so you would have thought the manufacturer would have done something about it by now...

Poor quality
Unable to fix the 2 halves of the globe. Everyone around have tried but to no avail. Highly disappointed in the quality of the product.

This globe is rather cheap and plastic-looking
I was quite disappointed to see how cheap the manufacture of this item was. It came in two halves and when put tougher there was a visible line around the middle of the globe which could easily have been omitted. The globe was smaller than I thought it would be but I didn't have a chance to measure it as it was bought as a gift. I am not sure of the accuracy of the maps as I have not had a chance to study it.

Well made light up globe with clearly labelled countries
Nice globe. Clearly labeled places. Lights up. Bit on small side but hard to imagine size when ordering.

Jag gav globen till en pojke som fyllde 11 år. Det kunde ju bli ett trevligt aktivitet med de vuxna att samla globen, och prata om världen. Det gick bra nog att sätta ihop stativ och att få belysningen att fungera. Men det allraviktigaste, globen, gick inte att sätta ihop. En hel rad av vuxna och händiga i familjen har använt timmar (bokstavligen!) på att försöka. Det går bara inte. Vad gör man med två halva och halvdyra globar?

The globe needs to be assembled. The instructions are clear and it is easy to do. It looks great, but the alignment between the northern and southern hemispheres is not perfect. For kids, this is no problem, but if you want to have it precise, it is a bit annoying.
