Craig Frames 12x18 Black Picture Frame, Collage Mat for 2, 8x10 Photos, Wall Display

I bought a few of these frames to hang up at my work and they do the job just fine, but they definitely aren't the highest quality, and i definitely wouldn't buy them to put a gift in. That said, there isn't really too much on the market in this price range, and they aren't throw-away frames by any means.Overall, pretty good.

Frame is fine. Mat is thin & flimsy. I chose to have a two window beveled Mat cut instead of the thin paper-like one supplied. Even so, the frame alone is worth the price, & if you have the cutting skill, the mat windows are already measured out for you on their mat.

Inserted copy of a wedding ceremony (2) pages and gave it as a gift to the newlyweds…..looks beautiful

This is exactly why I wanted. Works perfect for grandparents pictures. Very sturdy. Very pretty in color.

Before purchasing, I read many of reviews. There were two criticisms that caught my eye and I proceeded to buy.The two criticisms were:1) “The tabs broke easily.” I can understand why. My approach is be slow in bending and use as few to review the pictures until satisfied. Then, lock them all down.As a result, none broke for me.2). “The plexiglass was thin, easily chipped and difficult to peel off the protective film”. Again, go slow without heavy pressure. It does peel away at the corner with a fingernail.As a result, no breakage or chips(Note: the thickness and strength of the plexiglass are fine..Hint, if you think you are working with a $100 frame, you will be more careful and slow. 😀

I did think for the amount of money that I paid for it that it would have glass and not plexiglass,but the frame that I chose in gray is very pretty.

It came packaged very well so the scratch doesn’t seem to be caused by packaging and mishandling. It seems more like a lack of quality control and sending the defective item even though it’s clearly visible.

I needed an unconventional size 10x16” for a painting and did not want to pay for a custom frame. I found this frame and cut the dividing piece of mat using a blade and straight edge. It came out beautifully! It looks professional. The frame looks good and, even though the “glass” is plexiglass, it looks just like glass and gives this a high end look. I am really impressed with this frame for the price. I will definitely be ordering these again if I need to frame any more paintings if this size.

Just to get it out of the way, it's a plastic cover, but it's quite nice regardless.If you are the type to get fussed over glass vs plastic, don't get it. If you don't care, it's a good deal.The frame itself is nice. It's an unblemished, simple black that really puts the pictures into focus.

Ordered 2 12x18 frames. Frame looks to be ok but the opening which on the site says 8x10 is actually 7.5 x 9.5. So if that's a problem stay away from this. I'm thinking about returning it myself. Also if you aren't handy then this isn't for you. Comes with wire and hardware that needs to be drilled into the frame. Screws look to be almost too long as the pilot hole will almost go through the frame. So you could get smaller screws I suppose. If you aren't handy then this could be a problem...I'd prefer the black backing with the clips on it if it would hold up on the wall...instead you get what looks to be a piece of corrugate cardboard instead of a black matte backing...also it's not glass it's plexi.

The white matting looks a bit "cheaper", but it the price is right and is perfect for what I needed.

At first I was annoyed because I thought there was a scratch on the frame. However, I quickly noticed that it was a protective layer (thank god), and all was well.
