Olympic Cast Iron Plate for Strength Training and Weightlifting, Pairs, Sets or Set with Barbell, Multiple Sizes

I've owned many olympic plates over the years and these are my favorite. The handles/grips are comfortable and make them easy to move around. They are durable and great quality. The fit and finish are great. May not be as smooth in terms of laser cutting compared to other brands like rogue but you are paying three times less. And at the end of the day weight is weight. I personally think they look great. I've bought three pairs so far and probably will buy more.

Yes the have a rubber smell, but that goes away over time, and these are very nice for the money, and unlike other reviews mine came in in perfect shape, no mold no problems, just a very nice set of sturdy rubber coated weights.

As other reviewers noted, there’s a strong rubber smell that goes away after a few days. After that, no complaints at all!

I did a lot of researching and looking around this was the best value for the price that I found. For some reason, 2 inch weights are way more than 1 inch as far as the hole goes.I decided on getting a 2 inch barbell and 2 inch weights as far as durability.I recommend getting these if you can grab them on sale I grabbed mine on sale and even the normal price is still a good deal. Compared to everything else that is out there if you’re looking for next day, you know that same week this is a good value to buy. And just as a reference, mine came the next day.They do smell really, really bad. I’ve had mine outside for a week and they still smell.

This review is for the black Cast Iron Olympic plates with two grips. There is no rubber coating so these plates will never off-gas.I ordered 245 lbs. Some plates have silver text that looks awful. The majority of the plates however look great. If I had to guess, I’d say 75% of the plates I received are flawless, 20% have minor cosmetic flaws, and 5% look like the pics I posted. Also, some plates have black paint that chipped off probably due to poor packaging.If the center hole (inside ring) feels a little rough/coarse you may want to use some sandpaper to make sure it’s smooth enough so the plate will not scratch your barbell sleeve.If you have the option to select "ship in an Amazon box" at checkout...do it. That extra box helps to protect the plates.Overall, I love the plates. Buying an oil based black sharpie and oil based silver sharpie is probably a good idea to fix any cosmetic flaws.

The steel ring in the center makes these plates slide on easier than all my other bargain plates.The rubber makes them easier to grip and helps silence my lifts.I may end up buying a full set of these some day.

bought a pair of 25 lb plates. they're that. But they're pretty low quality. Cheap paint, bad letters in the casting, surface defects, just generally not good quality. they go on a bar just fine, weight is within tolerance, and they're cheap. If the aesthetics bother you, get something nicer. If you just need cheap weight plates, they'll do.

Je précise que je rédige ce commentaire le lendemain de la réception du produit.Livraison rapide et bien emballée.Les poids on tous été pesés et j'ai noté que sur un échantillon de 2 sets de 45lbs (2x 2,5 + 4x 5 + 2x 10lbs), 50% ont le poids exacte, 12,5% un poids supérieur de l'ordre de 50g et 37,5% inférieur d'environ 30 à 50g. Donc vraiment pas de quoi se plaindre, je pense que c'est très cohérent pour le prix.Quelques défauts sur la peinture, dont un disque avec du carton collé.Sinon, rien à redire, les poids s'adaptent parfaitement sur mes haltères. Les disques sont fins et ont un diamètre suffisamment petit pour que ce soit confortable. Les poignées sont un plus pour manipuler et déplacer.

Excellent quality with rubberized coating. They do have a strong smell so I suggest letting them air out first. The smell does go away.Came with 2 x 10lb, 4 x 5lb, and 2 x 2.5lb plates. Also came with locking collars so I didn't have to separate collars for my supercurl bar. I recommend these plates if you are starting a home gym.

Great value.There’s a strong rubber smell that dissipates in a few days and the weight labeling is not very well done or made to last. However, the plates are easy to handle and you can’t beat the price.
