Worked straight from the package on my iPad and my iPhone, very good value.

For a couple of minutes I thought this accessory didn't work. Finding it on the iPhone (XS MAX) seemed impossible, but eventually I did. Transferring an image, or video, from the phone to the SD card slotted into the card reader takes three steps, and the steps are not immediately obvious, but I got there in the end, and the images and video transferred over perfectly.I currently plug the phone into a windows laptop and use PHOTOS to transfer images, and I need to do this often, but it's a bind...the phone and laptop often struggle to *talk* to each other, and the laptop reloads every image on the phone, which can takes minutes, so it's irritating. But this is an Apple/Microsoft problem, not a phone or laptop problem, as such.This card reader means I can now simply slot the card in, plug the reader into the phone, and off I go...images transferred in a jiffy. I can then slot the card into the laptop and access them like any file in any folder. Or do the reverse and transfer from laptop to phone. A great time saver. Good value for such a result.
