Magic Eye Gallery: A Showing of 88 Images (Volume 4)

Very clever and extremely satisfying when you can finally see the hidden images.

Being someone who was obsessed with these books in the 90's, when I was a teenager, I bought this for a bit of nostalgia and to also introduce my 12-year-old son to the delights of sitting, looking daft and staring through a picture, whilst moving it slowly away and into focus, and see a lot of amazing items in 3D! Whilst I'm still a dab hand at these and see what's hidden relatively quickly, I've explained to my son that it takes a bit of practice to get your eyes used to it and that there is a knack. I find it amusing to watch him getting frustrated because he hasn't quite mastered the technique, and the amazement in his face when he "checks" up on me, to see whether what I'm telling him I'm seeing is actually correct! It's a great new hobby to get your kids into, if you're finding that they are showing signs of being too invested in screens and want them to find more mindful ways of relaxing (or winding themselves up, depending on how quickly they "get it")!

I bought this for a science workshop for primary school children as I have been teaching them about the relationship between the eyes and the brain. I actually cut the pages out so the children could take one home to practise. This was a great bargain as the children had a picture on both sides with pages to spare; even their regular teacher had ago. Also my family and friends have had a go and loved it 'magic eye' is a real blast from the past and I am so glad I found this book. It even has an index of the actual hidden images at the back for anyone who is stuck and also a really good guide at the front to enable you to see the pictures which I used with the children. I will definately be purchasing another one soon in time for the next workshop. Great fun and great for teaching children about visual perception

I never use to see the images in these magic eye books, however after reading the tips on how to see the images I am now enjoying these books. Great fun!

Brilliant. I had one of these books years ago ,gave it away which I regret but now I have one again. Lots of fun.

I have many of these books, but my favourite ones are by Magic Eye. The quality is superb, and you do feel that your could put your hand into the page and lift the images.
