Great price and great drink to smooth upset stomach
Lovely ginseng & ginger drink, excellent value for the money. Really good for my stomach as I suffer with acid reflux. Fast delivery and well packaged. Will definitely be buying more ☺️

Very strong ginseng flavour not much ginger
Not as Gingery as I seem to remember it. I ended up having to add another sachet of the Dalgety instant ginger drink to override the very strong Ginseng taste, and make it more like a ginger drink with ginseng rather than a ginseng drink with a hint of ginger as it seems to be these days.

Felt the digestion benefits, a bit too sweet for me
These come in sachets inside a big pack and are easy to open as you just tear the pouch. Inside are granules of the infusion that are easy to dissolve in hot water similar to coffee granules. I liked the taste of the ginseng and ginger but it was a bit sweet for me as they blend it with honey, I’d prefer it without the honey and then I can add a little bit if I want. I kept tasting the ginseng which is quite an earthy similar to green tea taste and the ginger, but the honey strength was getting in the way. I felt the benefits of the ginger which were improved digestion especially in the stomach area beneath the ribs it felt like it was cleansing and detoxing. As I often have fresh ginger it shows there is quite a high content of real ginger in here for me to notice the effect on my digestion. It smells gingery with an earthy smell from the ginseng. For £7.99 for 30 sachets I think it seems slightly expensive as it is just tea but in granules rather than in a teabag. I suppose there could be slightly more health benefits as you’re directly drinking the granules rather than letting the flavour of them come out of a teabag but with the added sugar in the honey I’m still not that keen. If you like sweet tasting herbal tea and are happy with granules then I definitely recommend it.

Easy, Tasty Pick Me Up Drink
This is an instant granule tea that makes a tasty cup with absolutely no hassle. Dalgety make a few different types of granule tea and I already enjoy their turmeric and ginger blend. Both of these offerings have added honey lifting the other hot or earthy flavours up a bit to a brighter taste which I personally prefer. The ginger isn’t mega hot but you know it’s there and the ginseng is almost imperceptible to my taste buds but you may find that different. The ingredients are fairly transparent as listed below although I did ask the manufacturer what type of ginseng is used and got no reply which is why I’ve docked this product a star in the rating. 30% Ginger 15% Ginseng 27.5% Honey 27.5% Sucrose Some may have preferred this without sucrose as it contains honey but it is a sweet beverage and honey doesn’t really do much in that department especially in a dried granule. If you’re buying a granule tea, you’re buying a processed product so it really shouldn’t be a surprise if it contains some ingredients to enhance flavour but there are no other nasties or additives. This is a great pick me up instant drink with a nice warmth and is sweet enough. You get 30 sachets which makes this an affordable & time saving alternative to chopping and stewing ginger and ginseng. Recommend

Easy to make, stronger Ginseng taste than ginger....
What you get is an outer plastic sleeve, inside are 30 individually wrapped portions of the tea. When pouring into a cup, you get freeze-dried granules, not unlike an instant coffee (but obviously much different in colour). Add some water, mix and everything dissolves really well. I found the scent and also taste to be a lot stronger with Ginseng than with Ginger, there was quite a tang to it. However, having suffered with acid reflux, I find this does help to calm the stomach, so the taste, for me is worth it. I prefer it, if it had a little more ginger, personally. Strength of the tea was as expected, and at £7.99 at the time of writing for 30 sachets, I think it offers reasonable value for money for a herbal tea. I would recommend it, but only if you are okay with Ginseng.
