This is my 4th time buying one of these, I’ve never been able to get out all my thoughts so clearly before I am so thankful for this find!!!

I love this product and can't wait to sit down and put all my notes into one location! Great set up, material is quality. Love this and will be getting more in the future by Storyfolk

The booklet itself is a nice guide if you're completely lost at starting to write your novel or need to organize everything to keep a clear overview. However, the quality of the booklet doesn't make up for the price in my opinion. For that price I'd at least expect a hardcover booklet with thicker pages and cleaner cover prints. From far away they look okay but up close it gets rather blurry which shouldn't be the case. The graphic design regarding placement of boxes and the size of lines to write on rather reminds me of an exercise book for elementary school students. It would have been nicer if there had been more but smaller lines. Like I don't want the entire page to be filled with only 8 lines where there's either a huge white space or I have to write enormously big. Another issue I have with this is that there's some pages with ideas that would have worked fine as a digital novel planner but not as one you need to fill with printed pictures and such. The boxes for cover ideas and inspirations are way too small and even if I was to print images to add into the planner, they'd be so small you wouldn't be able to recognize anything. All in all, the content and the idea are good but the poor execution of design and lack of product quality take away from these aspects. It seems like someone designed this as a hobby but has no background in design or whatsoever and didn't think things through regarding usability. In this price range I'd expect more quality and professionalism.

Very helpful to organize thoughts

This novel planner is excellent! It is pretty, thorough, and adorable. I love how much the author dives into creating your characters, it really helps you flesh them out answering all the questions! Making the magic system and culture, etc; it is all so detailed! I love having everything I need in one book. It is so pretty too! I would definitely recommend this! There are a few cons that I want to warn you about though, which is why I docked it one star. 1. The book is very "homemade", so a decent amount of spelling errors and too many spaces between words and such, which can make you question the credibility, but if you can look past that, this author has some great insights! 2. This book would be very difficult to use without the accompanying "recipe" book of terms and such that she uses in the book. A well established author would probably have no problem, but as a newbie I was confused with some terms until I looked it up in the "recipe" book I purchased separately from this same author. 3. Lastly, I bought this "light" version of fantasy and the "high" version as well, as I wanted to see the difference. I was surprised that the only differences were the pictures inside, and about 2 or 3 section that were added. Everything else is exactly the same. So more just a different aesthetic than a different book. With that said, I would still highly recommend this book as it is really one of a kind, and I haven't seen any others like it!
