We bought this after a power cut a few months back and we usually charge it up either during the middle of the night when power is 1/3 of the usual price OR when we get free powerups (free periods of electricity thanks to Octopus Energy) so it never costs much to fill it up. We then deplete it and effectively whatever we run is either 1/3 cost or free, albeit of course we paid for the power station! However, that's just a day-to-day way of making use of something we bought for emergency use. Often, a power cut out here in the provinces is due to bad weather and we often have flooding right outside our home. This means we can keep the pumps running a bit longer and maybe bridge the gap until the power comes back on again, but even on a less worrying power cut it's great to have such a thing and we can still have Wi-Fi and TV as well as charge everything we need and some basic lighting. It's not gonna run your home for hours - that's simply not what this is for, but as an effective backup it's great. It's really simple to use, nice and compact and sturdy and far less hassle than a generator with no fumes or noise. I'm sure it's great for camping and outdoors stuff, plus I can use it for work stuff if I need it out on site too. Wouldn't be without it now we have one.

This product is so good, I bought two! I run an off-grid flower farm, and needed a power source to run my pump system. I invested in an Aferiy battery during the summer, and loved how convenient, efficient, neat and reliable it was. I’ve used it daily since purchasing. In December the unit malfunctioned, and wouldn’t charge. I contacted Aferiy and sent them some footage of what was happening. Their customer service was prompt, helpful and informative. After determining the issue they decided to send me a new replacement unit, and arranged for the collection of the faulty unit. I could not fault their service. They’ve been a pleasure to deal with. So much so that I decided to buy a second unit for use elsewhere on the farm. I now have two units that I rely on daily, and I won’t hesitate to invest in further after it equipment when the need arises. Highly recommend.

Extremely well engineered, quiet and efficient, with exceptionally good proce per kWh. I use this one in my home office primarily as UPS during the week and take it out on the road when we do. As UPS - it is perfect - I have a big graphics desktop with multiple monitors, servers, networking and security infrastructure - all quite sensitive to power. Yet, this device is so quick that it switches UPS over without dropping a single device or network packet. 2kWh is plenty to run full office for hours or neywork/security for a couple of days. And we could use to charge at low prices and then use stored power during peak hours to save money.

Charging it is simple and fairly quick – I usually plug it in overnight when electricity rates are lower or connect it to a solar panel on sunny days. The unit is sturdy and provides a good variety of output options. I’ve used it to run everything from my laptop and phone to larger appliances like a microwave during a garden gathering. It’s compact but slightly heavy to carry, so while it’s not the most portable option, it’s manageable as long as you’re not travelling a significant distance. A practical choice for home backup or outings, though investing in a proper trolley would make transport more practical. Reliable and functional.

Its not a cheap purchase, but so far its a good purchase, I have paid attention of making sure the unit is discharged when not in use. This charges quickly & so far I haver had no issues. This also makes life easier because I don't have to carry any fuel, & 0il cans etc.
