Toaster Stainless Steel,Toaster-6 Bread Shade Settings,1.5in Wide Slot

Grabbed this during prime day 2023 for around $45. I think for under 60 this is a solid toaster. There are a couple things to make note of. First off, knobs on the front are all chromed plastic, for $50-$60 this is not a problem but if I had paid the suggested price of $200 and found that out, I would’ve been annoyed, the sides of this toaster get very hot, hotter than some more namebrand toasters that I have worked with. just something to be mindful if you place things next to your toaster they’re going to get affected by the heat or even possibly melt. Packaging was pretty good it arrived without any issues. I plugged it in, set the toast level to max in this case is six and then let both slots toast without any bread in them . The instructions mention to run the toaster without bread but it did not specify what level to set the toaster. I went ahead and just set it to max. There was some odor at first, but this is to be expected as there are oils and things from the manufacturing process. I Have experienced things like this with namebrand toasters as well. I let it cool a little bit and then ran a couple slices of wheat toast through it. These were toasted at the four level. For me they came out perfect I like a brown toast, but not too dark. The toasting on the bread was very even something that I was concerned with as my old toaster died on only half of the sides. So far this is a pretty good toaster. I’m hoping that the filament that that heats up to toast continues to work evenly and as well as it is right now.

I looked at dualit and smeg toasters- but couldn’t justify the price tag for something that just toasts bread- especially since they have similar negative ratings as this Wahl toaster. It toasts evenly, looks really nice, and no. Complaints after a month. Everyone who has stayed with us has commented on it- and we’re happy!

Had to give this toaster a 4 star because it literally stinks!!!I did what was suggested, putting down the lever with out bread, before using it for toasting OMG, the smell was terrible!! I did it several times and opened the windows, finally the smell was gone and I could toast some bread.Let me tell ya, this makes the best toast ever!!!I’m really impressed with how well it works, so much better than my old one. No more turning the toast around to toast both sides evenly. It looks great on my counter.I would have given it a 5 star if it hadn’t been for the smell, which took a while to get rid of.Other than that, I really like this product!!

A+ toaster. Solid- doesn’t slide around on granite counter. Efficient heavy duty and very pleasing to the eye in modern kitchen. We use toaster daily so it is left out. This does the job.
