Encantada con este labial, para empezar venía muy bien empaquetado, a mi en lo personal me molesta que labiales de bonita presentación como este, se vean opacados por la etiqueta horrible del código ya que cuando la quitas deja restos de la etiqueta y pegamento lo cual hace que se vea fatal el labial por fuera, este NO fue el caso, lo enviaron perfecto. El labial es cremoso, de alto pigmento, tiene un ligero brillo como si te hubieras puesto poquito gloss, comentó esto último por que yo pensé que era mate y no es así, sin embargo el acabado me encanto, la duración es media. Lo compre la primera vez en $89 y justo al otro día de que me llego lo marcaron en $55 jaja, así que lo volví a pedir. :)

This is much brighter than the photo lets on. I have olive skin and was looking for a dark, rich red for the winter seasons. This is much more like a pillar box (or perhaps, British telephone box) red and not what I was looking for. However, you cannot fault the quality of these lipsticks; they're long-lasting and moisturising, even if the colour isn't always as expected.

I usually prefer Maybelline lipsticks and actually like a sheer bright shade. I knew this was a cream but expected a brighter orange-red. It looks that way online and is a fire red shade. However, it is a drying and pale creamy formula that is a blue tone of red. I suppose it is a classic red, more like Revlon Fire and Ice. I have pale skin with yellow undertones so this was a definite miss for me. But it is very difficult to be sure of a suitable shade unless you are at a department store cosmetics counter with testers and a clerk. In order to use it at all, I must liberally coat my lips with a balm, apply the lipstick, blot it, and use clear gloss over it. Also must change my blush to pink. I usually use a peach tone. I am not thrilled with so much effort for an inexpensive but usually good lipstick. My suggestion to Maybelline: List this shade as a blue-red tone. I find it all but unwearable.
