I really enjoyed it to read this book. It is painting a "holostic" picture about all aspects related with operating models in combination with cloud and edge computing.I appreciate the style which makes it easy to read and to understand. It's following a clear structure and the authors almost completeley avoided to use the typical "3 digits IT abbreviations".In the first chapters the book is explaining all the needed basics for the topic whereas and in the last chapters a concrete use case is excercised until its end.The book is fully taking into account all the reality of years old big companies with their typical heterogenous grown application landscapes. It offers a pragmatic way to integrate these existing and valuable architecture in a modern operating model and connect them to the modern world of cloud and edge computing platform and architectures.And last but not least: the book also does not forget about the influence and dependencies of poeple, organization and culture to drive a success project.Congrats and thanks to the authors.
