My first diesel heater, I like it
I watched a bunch of videos about diesel heaters, read all of the comments and took a chance. My experience is that this heater was well assembled and safe to use as it came from the factory. The allegedly junk green fuel line works. There were no loose screws or hose clamps. There were no leaks. I’ve run it flawlessly for 10-12 hours daily for several weeks heating a 14’x22’ room in a garage. Does it heat it up quickly? Not really, but after a couple of hours the temperature has been at least 10 degrees warmer than outside and after that the temperature keeps rising about 10 degrees Fahrenheit an hour. That’s my experience with this heater. The room has a 12’ ceiling, so it’s a pretty good sized space. I have the heater sitting outside the building and 8’ of ducting run through the window into the room. I think it would heat quicker if mounted inside the room and the exhaust run through the wall to the outside but I’m not sure because I haven’t tried it. On the highest setting I think it will run about 12-14 hours per tankful. I use a 50 amp lifepo4 battery to power it. After the shutdown sequence is completed, within 5 minutes the exhaust pipe and heater are cool enough for me to touch and separate for storage. The exhaust pipe is actually cold within 5 minutes . I think this type heater is for people that have some experience with equipment and who enjoy operating different types of equipment. If you expect to plug and play and don’t have any idea of what to do when a clamp needs tightening or how to install a fuel line hose clamp, maybe you should consider another type of heater. Personally , I think these heaters are fun to set up and run and I am not a professional.

its hot!
works well every climate its been used. high elevations mostly. Its for my mobile ski cabin. the remote makes it easy because it can heat up multiple vehicles with a duct splitter. heats up fast and goes all night. it ticks and sounds just like every other diesel heater. as far as heat goes, this seems to be the most effective, both cost and function. will be buying another one for my cargo trailer.

Bottom housing riveted on with no access from the top or sides
Updated! Just tried to return through Amazon and it’s non returnable!!! The Amazon ad mentioned nothing about it being nonAReturnable!! To contact the manufacturer!!! They’re in China with no street address to return to and only an email address to communicate with! I’ll never do this again!!! Shame on Amazon for no disclosure of a no return policy. I bought this for my RV and just getting it set up. I spilled diesel fuel inside of it for the tank is on the inside. If you spill diesel inside it there’s no way to to drain it or to do a clean up. Ask me how i know. Also the exhaust vent is vented inside so fuel gets inside it too. They should have shrouded the interior vent over the exhaust for an accidental runoff of fuel . I haven’t even turned it on yet!!! I just got it and now this. I have a huge mess to clean up. I have to drill out the rivets and replace with screws so I can get in there and drain it and clean it. 2nd, the exhaust line is 2 foot long which is entirely too short for where I can put the unit. I had to buy gas flex line at a big box store at a price of $75 to be able to vent it where I need to. Even The exhaust hose is an is a fire hazard! It needs to be vented . Unless you mount the unit immediately beside where you vent it, it’s insanely too short. 3rd, the 12 V connection cord is only 12 inches long and the same applies. I had to buy wiring to be able to solder together to make it much much longer where I can mount the machine and hook it to the batteries. 4th, once I opened up the unit I noticed, after the diesel fuel spill that the exhaust vent has its own slotted vent inside of the unit apparently to heat inside the box. Unfortunately, diesel spill down into the exhaust port as well. So I don’t even have a clue if this unit will even run until I get to the point I can get inside of it, clean it and turn it on. If it doesn’t turn on, then this will cost me dearly as a cold snap is moving in within a matter of hours. And I don’t have anything to replace heating the rig. In the next hour, if it doesn’t run, I will have to winterize the RV in less than two hours unplug it and walk away. I’ll be homeless until I can find another suitable heating system. I bought this because my furnace quit impeccable timing. And 5th, the instruction manual is rather vague and needs much better explanations. For example, there is a seemingly sealed oil line for the diesel engine, but there is no instructions for maintenance of that line. Or is it refillable or not. If not once the oil becomes low, the unit will simply kill the engine, On that design alone I’d return it. Unfortunately, this seemed like a great heater And was recommended highly on some Facebook pages but unfortunately it’s desig ln Is its Achilles heel. I was expecting way better design than this. Therefore, I’m rating it one star. I will be returning it either way, but I’m praying it runs until I can get something better.

Not a Happy Camper! "Updated review"
I never write reviews, but I felt my Hcalory deserved a few words. I did my research on this item through reviews and watching videos on Youtube. I basically, reviewed just about every make and model of diesel heater and landed on this one. All of these Chinese built heaters are basically the same heater design just configured differently as far as size and shape. I chose this unit because it had a more compact design, looked more stable, side exhaust, tool box design and had dual voltage capabilities of 12v dc/120v ac. This unit arrived in an undamaged box with no apparent damage to the unit. It seemed well built and I was impressed with the design. I read the owners manual and began the setup for the initial firing. I fueled and plugged it into 120v ac with the supplied power supply. The control display would not light up on the controller. It did however start and run, but I could not tell what mode of operation it was in or pair the unit with my phone app. It ran well and I was impressed with the amount of heat this small unit put out. The only thing that works on the control panel was the power button and fan speed although they do not light up on the display. I contacted Amazon a week ago and still have not heard from them. I also reached out to the manufacturer Hcalory in China who replied to my email within 24 hours. They were very polite and courteous. They had no record of me buying it from their website since it was ordered from Amazon. I gave them my Amazon order number and they said they would send me a new controller when they got one in stock? In stock, don't they manufacture these units? I have used it a few times and I really liked this little heater despite the control panel not working correctly. Today I tried to start it and it said there was an ignition failure (it talks to you). So apparently the glow plug is out now. I tried to restart the unit dozens of times with the same result. I tried hooking it up to 12v dc and it will not do anything at all, meaning it does not work on 12v dc either. Powering with 120v ac it at least it will try to go through the ignition cycle and tell you there is a failure. If you purchase this item you cannot send these units back since they had fuel in them. So now I have a heater with no control panel, it will not fire, it will not work on 12v dc and it will not heat When and if I receive a new controller, it may solve these issues. I ordered this heater on Dec 31st 2023, received it on Jan. 4, 2024 with the initial firing on Jan. 6th. Today is Jan. 13th. For now I just have a $200 way to store 6 liters of diesel fuel. I am not a happy camper. "Updated Review" After my initial review the seller contacted me. They were very courteous and prompt with their questions and answers regarding my problems. They quickly offered a resolution to my problem which I accepted. I am happy with the results. They stand behind their products as I can attest. I must have got a unit that got bounced around a little too much during shipping. I really appreciate the customer service at LuneGus!

Reliable and easy to use
Used this heater to heat a 16' enclosed camp trailer. Very nice small enclosure, capable of operating outside the trailer, with a duct piping the hot air in. Ran it on highest setting during snowy nights, ran all night and kept the trailer warm. Used about half of the 6L fuel tank to heat for the entire evening. The wireless remote works well also. We were able to operate the heater from inside the trailer.....felt a little fancy!

Great heater
Just received the heater today. Very easy to set up, tons of heat, love the design of the unit. Will be using it in our motor home because the the propane heater is so loud and uses a ton of propane. The display on the unit is hard to see, so I downloaded the blue tooth phone app and it works great.

It works
I love this heater very compact don't know how waterproof it is not a lot of instructions to cut my huge swedish stove double oven standpipe freed up the entire tent by leaving your unit outside just to pump the heat in first night I ran it on high and got 11 hours out of the fuel second night turned it on put it down to a low low setting number three and got 16 hours out of it and still had a quarter tank left temperature outside was 21 temperature inside with 76 works fantastic in a bear tent from Russia would love to do more experiments on it since it's the second one I bought from you and two others from somewhere else the Bluetooth is awesome there's very few things that would change except maybe make an auxiliary fuel tank because when I go out in a blizzard sometimes I can't leave the tent for 40 hours I'd like to know that auxiliary tank with feeding the other a few ideas thank you

Pay attention to the no return policy.
Love the idea of the heater and for the 10 minutes it worked, it was great. Then it overheated, error code 05. After altering the setup I had used flawlessly, no errors at all, for my L.F Bros diesel heater, a change of hose, straightening the exhaust pipe, and changing the input through the window, with a little luck, I got it to run for about 10 minutes again. I turned it off for the night's testing, but when I attempted to start it up the next morning, it would go through it's startup and then go to error 03. I never got it running again. I contacted the company and felt their response was subpar. A new machine that doesn't work getting a modicum of sympathy, a request to see the error codes and it seems and that is about all, I like the idea of the box, self contained diesel heater, but any new product should work out of the box...and if not, should be replaced. If hazardous materials are the hold up, then send a new heater, if with videos, it can be shown that the heater is defective. Guess that's too much to expect, it seems. Always go with a company that stands behind it's product. With these heaters, that is difficult . My fault was i didn't read the NO RETURN policy enough or at all. I thought it was something like you couldn't send it back to Amazon... It's literally, noo one accept returns by Amazon or the manufacturer. And you are stuck with a heater you have to fix, even though it is new. When I contacted the company, they thanked me for the purchase, and...... "We are sorry for the inconvenience. However, for the E03 and E05, maybe you can check if the main board has something wrong." That was the solution in essence.... Become a diesel heater mechanic... So, I ordered a glow plug, took the heater apart and will work on it till I get it running. Maybe if that doesn't work I can buy a "main board" or whatever it needs. You don't always get what you pay for, as this was not one of the cheaper diesel heaters. Hope it just a bad glowplug and an easy fix. Again, like the unit, works great (for a few minutes) and really puts out the heat.
