Works fine
The media could not be loaded. Fits perfectly, looks pretty neat actually it’s light in weight. So far I’ve only use the hdmi type c and the usb port and it’s working well. Did a PowerPoint presentation with the type c sound photos video clips it worked seamlessly. It’s easy to use, just plug and go just hoping it stays the same.

USB-C Power source, SD adapter, and more
Works perfect. Instructions seem reversed (The unit works with the labels facing away and 2 USB portals on top, where instructions show USB portals on top but labels facing to screen). Who knows. I am directionally challenged. It works, perfect, though!

Careful with a case
No technological problems and works great whenever I use it to connect things to my 9 the only problem is you have to be very careful what style of case you choose if you want to use this with a case on your computer and you have to be careful not to shut the computer with this on it because most cases can't accommodate it.

seems decent so far
I was a little nervous plugging this in the first time on a 1-day old Surface Pro 9, there was a touch of resistance pushing it into the two USB-C ports. Once I got it the first time, it worked fine. It's handy to have a single device to plug in a monitor/keyboard/mouse all at once, if you want to do that. When I first plugged it in, I got some Windows errors about unrecognized devices. Everything works the way it should though; I'm running a bigger monitor through the HDMI port, and I have an adaptor plugged into the USB-C port to extend it to more USB-A plugs for keyboard/mouse dongles.I'm still testing it, but so far so good.Note: This is not compatible with many (or maybe all) protective cases available for the Surface Pro 9. If the case adds any thickness between the dock station and the USB ports on the computer, then this will not work.

Wouldn't buy it again
The item worked just once, when I first bought it and tried it out and now it doesn't work at all. Wasn't worth the money I spent.

Adds great expandability and looks OEM
I'm using this with my Surface Pro X and this adapter is great. It fits perfectly, flush, and looks like it is original equipment. With regards to my experiences with each port:- usb c: met expectations for charging (65w charger), fast data transfer (external SSD, also dependent on cable), video output (used with a 32in 4k 60hz monitor) was as expected, especially with refresh rate. I was also able to charge from this port as well.- HDMI: worked as expected, although, again the refresh rate is limited to 30hz- usb 3.0: met expectations compared to other adapters I have with regards to data transfer with usb flash drives, external SSD & HDD. Again your cables are a factor here that can impact performance.- SD/TF: good/excellent, consistent data transfer/read speeds with various SD and microSD cards.All-in-all, a recommended accessory for your Microsoft Surface.

Nice way to add connectivity to your Surface Pro 9
Just purchased a new Surface Pro 9 and although I love it, only having two USB C connectors kinda stinks. So I bought this since it will be able to be used with USB 3.0, SD/MicroSDXC and HDMI as well. Love that the Thunderbolt port will also accept 100W PD charger as well. However the only downside is that when you connect it to your Surface, the lettering is on the backside. Which doesn't make sense to me if it's specifically made for the Surface Pro 9 it should have the letters on the correct side or at least print it on both sides. But for the price paid, it was a very good deal and provides the ports I need.
