This edition to my side panels was a great choice. Very sturdy and well made. That being said, it adds a bit of flair to an otherwise low profile Goldwing.

This item left a 1/4" gap where the underlying grey frame is still exposed. There is another similar gap where the front side meets the drivers pegs. No instructions were given to tell if the stock gray trim piece ( picture 2 ) needed to be removed or not. Leaving it on is a tight fit and makes it very hard to get the bolts re-inserted. Taking it off makes installation easier but leaves a gap between the top end of this piece and the bikes frame. The allows this piece to move back and forth a bit. A rubber spacer should be engineered into the item to tighten up the fit. Overall a nice look and welcome improvement for the price. I guess I got what I paid for since this was much cheaper than the other brand. Deserves 3-1/2 stars.

Easy install. Large amount of chrome addition. Very visible and definitely make my beast standout more. Slip top end under plastic, attach bottom end with the 3 crews removed when removing the OEM grey plastic cover thing.
